Suddenly, one of the guards, standing rigid and alert, answered a call. "Yes, master. We will go right away," he said, his voice firm and professional. He turned to Raika, bowing slightly. "Master Raika, your father has requested that you come home. It's getting late now."
Raika turned away from the cityscape, her thoughts still lingering on the message from the Soul Keeper. She began to walk away from the bridge, her mind a whirlwind of emotions. The five guards started in surprise. "Where are you going, Master Raika?" one of them called out, reaching a hand out in the air as if to physically pull her back.
Another guard quickly added, "We are here to give you a ride home, Master."
Raika paused, a sudden realization striking her. "Whoa, a ride?" she said, a hint of amusement in her voice.
The guards exchanged bewildered glances, unsure how to respond. "Yes, Master Raika, a ride," one of them finally said, trying to mask his confusion.
