We worked together to clean up the mess he left behind. Many students were lying unconscious due to his actions, but the atmosphere was filled with a spirit of mutual assistance.
Students worked diligently together, setting aside hostility to restore order. I saw Mrs. Celsi up front, her inner light dimmed. She bowed her head, and her face clearly showed deep regret. Guilt emanated from every movement she made, as if bearing a heavy burden in her heart.
Hayden stood up and approached me. "You look fine," he taunted with a thin smile full of sarcasm.
"Do you think I'm weak enough to lose?" I retorted with a slightly emotional tone. After saying that, the students around looked at me with strange looks. In their hearts, thoughts flashed, 'If it had been someone else, they would probably be dead by now.'
Hayden walked out of the classroom casually, then turned to me. "Come on, don't be angry. Let's go to the cafeteria," he invited with a smile. Reluctantly, I accepted his invitation, although feeling uneasy towards the others. But I decided to just follow along.
As we walked out, we passed by the students lying unconscious. It wasn't as intense as when we fought them. But strangely, their eyes remained open. They seemed surprised. Was that person really so fast that they could make them like this?
We ordered quite a lot of food. "I forgot to have breakfast, lucky you're willing to treat me," I said, patting my full stomach.
Hayden froze, the spoon in his hand fell, and his mouth opened wide. "What, treat you?" he asked, surprised.
I laughed smugly, while he shook his head back and forth. His expression looked slightly annoyed.
At that moment, the cafeteria lady came again with additional food.
"Wait, I didn't order more!!" Hayden went crazy.
The cafeteria lady smiled kindly. "Don't worry, it's free for you to eat here."
"Really?" Hayden felt relieved.
Seeing him relieved, I felt annoyed. Why did everything have to be free when I wanted to tease him.
Hayden changed the subject, "Who was that person earlier?" he asked curiously.
I suppressed the feeling of annoyance. "I don't know either."
"Earlier, you were almost serious. But he stopped," mumbled Hayden.
Hearing that, I felt annoyed again. So, from the beginning, he wanted to test me, damn it.
[ ELSEWHERE ]
It looks like they're in a spacious room, with someone sleeping on the throne.
Then the phone rang. "The ringtone, 'He comes with a smile Bringing light into sight Every step, full of charm Oh Michiyo, you truly captivate the soul.'"
Someone brought the phone to the person sleeping on the throne.
"Madam... There's a call from Mr. Hachiko."
The lady opened her eyes slightly. "Have you found him, Hachi?"
"Yes, Madam... He looks unusual, I'll tell you when I get there, Madam," sad someone on the phone. The voice was clear.
Hearing no response from the lady, the person ended the call. "I'll be there soon, Madam," he said, closing the phone.
Back here.
The school bell has rung. Hearing that, we were the first to go home.
I didn't expect, Hayden's and my house were in the same direction. We decided to go home together.
On the way, we saw a group of teenagers gathered by the roadside.
"What's with the commotion?" Hayden asked, curious.
I tried to squint my eyes to see more clearly. Then I saw from the midst of the crowd that they were beating up an old person.
I told Hayden, "They're beating up an old person."
"What!!" he exclaimed.
We ran towards the crowd and jumped into the middle of them.
I did a split kick: jumped into the air, rotated my body, then spread my legs outward in opposite directions right and left quickly, aiming at the heads.
That made 2 of them fly off. After landing, I launched a sweep kick: I turned my body 180 degrees and focused on the ankles of the opponents. In a quick and smooth movement, my back foot swept low to the ground, hitting the exact spot on their ankles.
The force of my sweep kick made them lose their balance, and they fell hard to the ground.
Luckily, Hayden had already taken the old person to the hospital. I saw him during the attack earlier. He acted fast.
After they fell, I beat them all until they passed out. They numbered 12 people.
[A few moments later]
They began to wake up with a headache. "Ughh... My head hurts," said one of them.
"Me too," said another.
"Who was that person, and why did he beat us?" another continued.
I heard that and felt annoyed with their question earlier. "Hey.."
They raised their heads and looked at me, then tried to run away. However, their legs couldn't move because my sweep kick had crippled them.
Fearful faces were seen among them. "W-what do you want?" one of them asked with a trembling voice, his face pale.
"Which school are you from?"
