"And….. There!" Haiso shrieked, sliding a bright green gem into the forehead of his own creation: a wooden lady infused with seaweed, several fish hearts, and leaf/coconut clothing.
"She smells like fish? And she's like 6ft tall, was that really necessary?" Haiso looked unamused at Irabel's complaints, he slid down the side of a palm tree, and stood underneath the chin of his wooden woman, waiting for something to happen. "She'll come around.. Just wait."
"Seems fishy.. Literally. I'm gonna get some materials for a new recipe," Irabel said irritatedly, she scurried off along the shoreline, watching between her toes for unsuspecting crabbies. The sun lit breeze spread a salty tongue across her cheeks, as the shore rose to meet the demands of the moon. "If the moon moves, shouldn't the sun?" She said out loud, now pretty far away from her companion.
She wearily hummed a bright tune, which ran across her mouth like sweet candy, and an idea dawned upon her. "I should make an instrument!"
She gathered small thick pieces of driftwood, then turned to find her way back, curiously looking towards possibly asking Haiso to do it for her. Images of wooden flutes and blood painted recorders floated above Irabel, then flattened as she came across Haiso once more.
"What.. What are you doing?" Her voice echoed through the hollow brain of Haiso. "Healing, test one ended up costing me a finger… But hey! She can eat! Oh and then she walked directly into the ocean and hasn't come back." He smiled blankly at Irabel, who bubbled with disappointment.
Yo, genius author back again, what's up with making a robot that can eat? Bit weird wouldn't you say? Yeah for sure, or something, I'm not entirely sure what I'm talking about anymore.
"Can you make.. Like a recorder or a flute out of the wood I gathered here?" Irabel asked.
"No way, I just made an entire robot, I don't wanna build anymore." Haiso responded, causing Irabel's sharp brow to fall,
"You never make anything for me?! Weren't we like, supposed to be in love in the lore or something?!"
"Yeah but-"
Shut it Haiso I don't wanna write that in, it's not important for this chapter.
Irabel sighed, after hearing whatever garbage Haiso had to say, she made the intention of turning back to return the driftwood.
"I - Can - Make - A - Flute - for - you." Said the wooden woman, who had snuck up behind Irabel. She was drenched in water, all the way from her waterboarded toes to her crab infested seaweed hair. "Wooden Woman?! Where've you been?"
"Returning - the - fish - hearts - to - their - rightful - owners." She robotically remarked, sending Haiso into a confused state. She snatched the driftwood from Irabel's hand, then in a matter of seconds, created identical mini flutes, chucking one at Haiso, and gently handing one to Irabel.
"Yipeee!"
"Yeah.. Heck yeah."
