Kalix Noah's POV
This strange man stopped my wife. He went to her back and placed his palm on her wound.
"You should be in pain because your wound was also deep. How can you relax like it was nothing? Are you a monster?" this man asks.
My wife scoffs. "I should be the one asking you that question, young man. For a stranger like you, you've got the nerves to make such a comment," my wife says.
"Your wound is closed now. You all will know who I am after this," he says. He left and took the nearest horse and rode it.
"We better go," Kassandra says.
I nod. We all get into the horses that we're using. My wife and I had switched our positions while we're riding the horse.
I was in front of her, and she's holding the leash either. "Hyahh!" they roar. The horses start to run again.
I know she noticed something. As soon as Kassandra touched the ground, she told us that we all needed to leave.
