Kalix Noah's POV
I leaned on the wall and took a deep breath. I have to calm myself before someone sees me like this.
"You have to hide that scary expression you had, son," Father says.
I was startled when he appeared out of nowhere. He uses the back of his finger and knocks on my forehead. Dad laughs.
"You shouldn't enter a common room like that, young man. Don't forget that your wife isn't the only person who uses that room," he reminded. I laugh, which turns into a smile.
"I've been dreaming of the day they will find her. Both of our men were helping each other, and now that she's back, I can't stop myself, dad," I remarked. He snaps his fingers.
I blink. "Among your siblings, they inherit a few physical features of mine, but everyone knew you're my spitting image, but..."
