Ava's POV
I close my eyes and take a deep breath. I never expected that I have to read and read, then read again.
I massage my shoulder and look at Aurora. She's been making the ink for hours, and I've been writing for ages! I'm already bored! I want to go out and do something!
"Princess, stop making faces like that. You have to act properly from now on. You're the ruler of this region, remember?" she says.
I sighed and leaned back on my chair. I look at the ceiling. I never thought after five months of celebrating my debut party, I'd be forced to be an adult.
"Tell me, Aurora. Is my sister-in-law's suggestion really the best way to stop a possible war between the royal and noble factions?" I murmur.
I know Aurora will try to whitewash her answer, but that's not what I want to hear. "Just be honest. I don't need a play-safe answer from you," I remarked. She sighed.
