Kassandra's POV
I blink and act like I don't understand what he's trying to say. I know Arida told him that I lied about the letter.
My vice general also confessed that she rushed into the royal palace and told everyone that I had gone missing. My husband puts down the food and looks at me.
"Are we still strangers to each other after we spent a blazing night? I even memorize every part of your body, Kassandra," he says.
My cheeks feel hot, and I know I'm blushing. He held my face, pressing his fingers on my cheeks.
"We already consummated our marriage and knew each other's sweet spots. You should've at least told me the real reason why you're in that armor and decided to lead the resupply mission. That won't hurt you!" he continues. I groan a bit, but I still move my hand and cover her lips. I look around.
"Stop saying it. It's embarrassing, your majesty," I said.
