I was too surprised because of what happened. As soon as Arida's grandfather showed himself, I was already stunned.
I realize why Arida asked for a vacation because of this. I was too surprised and anxious at the same time. I know there's a reason behind this. That's why I'm worried.
My anxiety became heavier after my husband suddenly called me General Escalante. The tone he uses is the same from those days when he saw me as his enemy.
It was cold and distant. "Let's all witness the ceremony of two people that will be bound by marriage," he added.
I look at Enrique. Those eyes were the same as those of my husband at our wedding ceremony. I look at the script that I made. It's my turn to speak.
"Arida Oswald Dantes, are you here with your own free will and be a lawful wife?" I ask. "I do…"
"Enrique Espana, are you here with your own free will and be a lawful husband?" Prince Kalix asks.
