Kassandra's POV
We are on our way back to the palace when the crown prince appears from the corner. Arida and I stop and pay our respects by doing a curtsy and bowing a bit.
"Greetings to his majesty," I remarked.
I look into his eyes, but Crown Prince Gregory gives me this type of cringe-worthy and creepy demeanor. I look into his eyes and try to read him.
I want to know how I can help him and change how he sees the world. I want to help the royal family. I want them to hold each other's hands and rule this kingdom with love and harmony.
"I saw it. You like that limp, don't you? How poor taste you have, my dear," he says. He held my chin and lifted it up. He was looking at me with such grayness.
"We might be in-laws, but we still have boundaries, Your Majesty," I stated. I simply step back and bow my head.
I shouldn't let my guard down. I think the crown prince is planning something—bullshit! He grabbed my wrist and pulled me closer. He even holds on to my waist.
My eyes dilated. His face is moving closer. I heard Arida's sword being taken from her sheath. I have to do something!
I shove his hand away, and my palm grasps his whole face. I glared at him and moved his face away from me. He let go of my body as well.
"Your Majesty, didn't I tell you that we're in-laws? Know your boundaries and don't make me mad," I asserted firmly.
My expression was also dark and threatening. I use this face when I'm at war. I let go of his face and grabbed my hanky. I even wiped my hands that I used.
I let go of the handkerchief and stepped on it. He looks at me with a mad expression. He didn't expect me to react this way.
"Hah! As if you didn't want me to kiss you. Are you stupid? I'm the crown prince. That bastard is just the seventh prince. A walking jinx! I can even give you the title of crown princess if I want," he arrogantly remarked. My reaction became madder and darker. He pisses me off.
"You better shut that filthy mouth of yours, Your Majesty! I want you to kiss me. Don't make me puke. Seeing your face at this moment makes me sick already!" I roared.
He was about to speak when I glared. He was taken aback. I won't hold back now. "No one can kiss me or touch me more intimately than my husband. My lips, my body, and everything about me are owned by Kalix Noah El Greco, my one and only husband. No other man will ever have it," I firmly stated.
I pointed my finger in his face. "Shame on you! You even have the audacity to sexually harass your brother's wife. I don't care if he's a walking jinx. Don't ever talk to him like that in front of me. I can kill anyone if they continue to hurt my husband. You must remember that!" I added.
"I can't believe that the next king of this country was filthy like you. You better not touch me again, or you will experience the hell that I can bring to those who want to ruin my marriage. Leave before I'll speak with your parents about your rudeness," I said. His jaw clenched and he glared. "One! Two!" I growled loudly. He walks away.
"Lady Kassandra, are you okay?" Arida asks I place my hand on my chest and breathe deeply.
I need to do it, or else I'll lose my composure. I hope no one saw us or heard that. "Arida, promise me to kiss your mouth. This is only between the three of us. Did you understand?" I said.
"But why? You should tell this to his majesty and the king and queen as well," she says.
I walk forward. I need to calm myself in my room. I shook my head. I was walking while looking at the ground. I'm trembling. I really am.
"No! I don't want to ruin their relationship. I want them to be together, and this one will grow them apart. I want the royal family to work as one," I stated. She sighs. I stopped.
I know my vice general was worried because of this decision of mine. I turn around and face her. I held Arida's hand and smiled.
"Please! Don't tell this to my husband, either. Keep it between the three of us. He didn't succeed. I won't let anyone ruin my relationship with Prince Noah. Please? Do it for me, okay?" I stated.
She nods. I smiled and turned around. I hope she didn't notice that I'm trembling. I take a step again. I'm still bowing my head down. I breathe in and out.
"General, don't tell me you like Prince Noah?" she asks. I stop walking. Wait, what?!
"You like him! That's the real reason, right?! Last night, I saw how you looked at him! Whoa! General, you like him, right? You like his majesty, Noah," she says. I walk faster.
"Just tell me already. You like him, right? You do!" she says.
I stopped and looked at her. I even place my finger on my lips. "Shut it! Alright! I like him! Are we good?"
She laughs and claps her hands. "Finally! You like Duke Noah! You do, right?!" she repeats. I flick her forehead.
"I am! I like him so much. So shut up before someone hears you! My gosh," I stated. Her expression turns pale.
"Oh my..." she whispers. I turned around, and I was doomed!
"Ahhh!" I screamed, pointing my finger in Prince Noah's face. My feet move on their own. I run as fast as my horse.
'Bullshit! Of all time! Did he hear my confession?!'
I didn't stop and get inside the house. I bump into King Calixto and Princess Ava. I stopped and bowed my head while doing a simple curtsy. The king smiled.
"Dad, stop her! She runs like a horse!" Prince Noah screams. I was about to run again when Princess Ava held me.
"What did she do big brother? I mean, jinxed!" she says.
Wait… I think I know with whom I should start. I turn around, and it's too late. He grabs me from his sister's grasp and carries me like a princess.
"Thank you, little sister. Your sister-in-law and I have a lot to talk about. So much," he asserts.
Her sister blushed when she witnessed how close his face was to mine. I gulp. "Spare me, your majesty," I whispered.
"Let's see. You better convince me," he whispered. He looks at me meaningfully. I saw Arida. "Help me," I ask.
"Ahem! Good luck, general," she says and salutes. Damn!
My husband bowed his head to his father and went straight to the staircase. I have no choice but to face his majesty. As soon as he reaches his room, he opens it and kicks it closed.
