I didn't know that Sebastian was the adopted child of his parents. That only means that he was the adopted cousin of my youngest sister's fiancé.
"For now, I wish to understand all of this, Mother. I can't make a move and be reckless. No matter how protected our child is, his safety is my priority. He was our first child. I can't lose him," she replied.
My father speaks. "I'm glad I heard that. At least you know how to prioritize your safety and the baby. We have already seen how Kalix suffers when you act dead. I mean all of us actually," he says, halting.
"I know we have a lot of plates, but everyone in this room has roles to play. Look, what I am trying to say is... lean on us. I already lost my best friend. I can't lose her daughter, which is my daughter-in-law already," Dad added.
