Kalix Noah's POV
I don't know why, but I feel restless. I stood up. I knew something was wrong. It's been ten minutes since she left.
I was on my way to the door when Tamara grabbed my shoulder and stopped me from leaving. I look at her.
"Noah, I need to talk to you. What is going on, huh? Why is she here?" she asks. She didn't hold back.
"She? Who are you talking about?" I ask. She looks at me with teary eyes.
"Don't act like you don't know whom I'm referring to. Did you purposely do that? But why? How can you fool me like that? After all the things I did for you. How can you do this to me, Noah?" she questions.
I held her arms and shrugged her hands on my arms. I meet her eyes. I speak.
"Tamara, you're already drunk. Go back to your family's table. Let's talk some other time. I have an important matter to do," I replied.
She stinks. She had drunk too much alcohol. I know she's mad because my wife was alive.
