Astrid's POV
The king and queen were surprised because of what I said. I let go of his head and bowed my head. The two of them chuckle.
The king coughs. "Let's continue," he says.
Gregory held my hands again. "Repeat after me, okay? You'll go first, son," King Calixto added.
"I, Prince Gregory, take you, Princess, to be my wife…" he halts.
Prince Gregory repeats what his dad says. The king continued to speak.
"…to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part," Prince Gregory repeated.
It's my turn now. The queen will be the one to ask me. I cleared my throat.
"I, Princess Astrid, take you, Prince Gregory, to be my husband, to have and to hold from this day forward..."
The queen stops and looks at me. I repeated what she said.
