Lukas's POV
I opened the window. Kassandra told me that I could get inside if I wanted to check on her.
She really nurses her all night. I look at Lilibeth. She was sleeping much better, and her aura was different.
She might have lost some weight, but it's okay. I sat on the side of the bed and looked at her. I remember the pain in her eyes yesterday.
I knew the Esposa family treated her differently, but that was the first time I saw how badly they treated Lilibeth.
She's been all alone and lonely. Today is Big Brother's wedding ceremony. Dad asked him last night if they could announce my engagement with Lilibeth, even the engagement of my other two big brothers.
"I wonder if you'll be fine and can survive for today without shedding a single tear," I mumble, caressing her cheeks.
