Kalix Noah's POV
I ask my wife to sleep in our room again. She slept last night in the room where her master stays. Kassandra held my hand and looked at me with a smile.
"Don't tell me you feel lonely. I've been away for six weeks, right?" she says.
I sighed. I pulled her closer and neared my face. "I'll always be lonely. You've given me the scariest days of my life, Kassandra," I whispered.
She moved closer and landed a gentle kiss on my lips. "Let's go back in your room then. I have something to tell you," she whispers.
I smiled and nodded. We headed into my room. As soon as we got inside, she gave me the box that she was holding.
"What is this?" I ask.
"Read it. Patrick gave it to me. My dad told him to keep that box and gave it to me when the right time came. He feels like the time had passed, so he gave it to me," she explains.
