Astrid's POV
I don't know how I should answer the crown prince's question. Should I tell him that I ask the maids about him? What if those maids were punished because I forced them to be honest with me?
I know that she had a fiancée before, but I didn't know her name or the reason why their engagement was nullified. I averted my gaze while I tried to find a way to escape from his arms.
"You're quite stubborn. I think your big brother was right on that matter," Prince Gregory says.
I look at him. He smirks and places his hand on the back of my head. I fell into his trap! He did that to make me face him!
"I said, How come that you know about Alicia, hmm?"
I bit my lower lip and sighed. "I'll tell you, but promise me one thing. Don't punish them. It was all my fault. It has nothing to do with them. I pushed them to tell me why your engagement was nullified. I... ask the maids."
