When I opened my eyes, I saw my friend trying to wake me up.
-Hey, Kael, wake up.
Kael is puzzled.
-Why aren't you answering? Didn't you fall asleep playing video games?
The teacher notices and calls them to attention, kicking them out of the classroom.
Kael, still puzzled
-Hey, answer, why did you fall asleep in the classroom?
-I don't know," answers Kael.
In the meantime, the news was reporting that a satellite had fallen.
Some guys approach Kael from behind, trying to hit him in the head. But Kael, before the blow reaches him, dodges it by instinct, turns and almost hits them, but stops when he realizes that they were not those infected.
-Kael, where are you going? -says his friend Ethan.
Kael, in a hurry, goes to his house, stands in front of the mirror and, upon seeing his reflection, murmurs that the same thing will not happen, that he will save them.
-Ethan, could you come to my house?
-Why?
-Just come, you," says Kael.
Ethan, on his way home, carries some snacks, while Kael is desperately creating weapons with which to defend himself.
When he arrives, Ethan is surprised.
-What the hell, what are you doing? -He notices that he has a baseball bat and knives.
-Ethan, could you hand me that metal rod?
Ethan, startled, replies:
-What are you going to do with that?
-I'm making some weapons for what's to come. Watch the news," says Kael.
Ethan looks at his cell phone and sees that people are talking about a satellite going down with an airborne virus. The government has put the code "Torner".
A few minutes later, they both pass out from the virus. One full day they are unconscious, and the next day they wake up bewildered.
-Take that bat," Kael says to Ethan.
-What's going on? I don't understand what's going on," says Ethan.
-We're in a zombie apocalypse, just like in the video games," Kael replies.
Ethan doesn't believe him until he starts hearing screams outside the house and sees people chasing each other.
-Cover the window! Don't let those things see you!
Ethan, without hesitation, closes it and asks:
-Kael, what are we going to do, are we trapped?
-Don't worry, we have enough to survive for three or four days, but we have to go get more before all the supermarkets are looted," says Kael.
Ethan, resigned, watches as it gets dark and they have to eat the things that can't last for days.
-Hey, Kael, how did you know all this was going to happen?
-I didn't think it was going to happen, I thought people were going to go crazy over the news. But when I woke up, before you did, I saw that the people on the street weren't moving naturally and I deduced that they were zombies. "You don't have to find out that I'm from the future. "
-What are we going to do? -says Ethan.
-We have to sleep for tomorrow.
They split their sleeping schedules; one sleeps and the other keeps watch. That's how they spend the whole night and the next day they have to figure out how to get out without being noticed by those things and go to the supermarket.
-There are none of those zombies in the street. Let's go to the supermarket quickly! -says Kael.
-Yes, let's go!
They sneak through the streets and arrive at the supermarket. When they arrive, they open the door without making any noise and see how many zombies are inside.
-Don't make any noise. Go to the door and try to hold it open with something. I'll throw a noisy object that will attract attention and make them leave the supermarket," says Kael to Ethan.
-I'm scared! I don't think I can.
- I'd better throw the object and you open the door.
Kael accepts and opens the door, seals it. As he gets close to returning, Ethan throws the noisemaker. All the zombies run out of the supermarket and Kael runs to close the door.
They start splitting up places to look for canned food to eat and save for the future.
-Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!
Kael, hearing his friend's scream, runs to the spot where he sees his friend being chased by five zombies.
-Come, Ethan, over here!
-Save me, Kael!
Kael starts smashing the heads of the zombies. He sees that he left four down, but one is missing. He doesn't see where Ethan is.
-Kael, come help me!
Ethan shouts louder than before. Kael, seeing his friend on the ground with a zombie on top of him, tearing a piece of flesh from his mouth, laughs.
-Help me!
Kael, upon smashing the zombie's head and seeing that Ethan is scared.
-Crunching from the front door.
