The atmosphere in the room had shifted since Anna's last demonstration.
While the candle flames flickered softly, the air was thick with a blend of excitement, curiosity, and a hint of tension.
Nina was the first to break the silence, as always, with her overflowing enthusiasm.
"No wonder you were so confident with that guy earlier!" she exclaimed, pointing at Anna with a wide grin. "If he'd tried anything funny, you could've just stopped time and gotten us all out of there, right?"
Her comment caught everyone off guard.
Anna blinked, staring at Nina as she processed her words.
Aria and Elara also seemed puzzled, exchanging looks that reflected their thoughts.
"Uh, what?" was all Anna could manage at first.
Nina nodded eagerly, crossing her arms as if she'd just solved a great mystery.
"Of course! Makes sense. You could stop time, carry us out one by one, and we'd be safe from anything."
