The afternoon sun filtered through the large hallway windows as Anna, Aria, Elara, and Nina made their way back to the room.
Though the day hadn't been exhausting, the thought of returning to their room was refreshing.
As soon as Nina opened the door, she dropped her bag to the floor and darted to one of the beds.
"Finally!" Nina exclaimed, throwing herself face-first onto the mattress with a sigh of pure satisfaction.
Aria, walking right behind her, crossed her arms and shook her head, though a small smile tugged at her lips.
"Nina, didn't you say you were going to grab your notebook?"
Nina lifted her head just a few inches, her messy hair falling over her face.
"I know, I know. Just give me a second. I'm recharging my batteries."
"Recharging your batteries, huh?" Aria retorted sarcastically, grabbing a pillow from her own bed and tossing it at Nina. "Get up and find the notebook! You promised!"
