Anna lay down on the middle bed, wrapping herself in the thin sheet Aria had pointed out to her. The fabric was soft, but the environment still felt strange to her.
Closing her eyes, she tried to ignore the light, but after several minutes of tossing and turning, she sighed in frustration.
It wasn't just the brightness making it hard to sleep. She simply wasn't tired.
'I shouldn't have used that skill…' Anna thought with a hint of annoyance.
Finally, with a decisive gesture, she threw the sheet off and sat up on the bed, resting her hands on the mattress.
That's when she noticed Aria in the next bed over, completely awake. She was sitting cross-legged, holding an open book in her hands. Her eyes sparkled with interest as she delicately turned the pages.
Hearing Anna's movement, Aria glanced up, and upon seeing she was awake, flashed a knowing smile. Lowering the book slightly, she whispered:
"What's wrong? Can't sleep?"
