Anna paused in front of the door to her shared room, staring at it with a mix of frustration and resignation for what awaited her on the other side.
'What a rough first day,' she thought with some annoyance.
Though she had managed to end her day relatively well despite everything that had happened, the mere thought of sharing a room with Sienna and Liza was enough to sour her mood.
Remembering their antics in the bathroom earlier only reinforced how irritating it was to be stuck with them.
'Come on, Anna,' she told herself, adjusting her backpack on her shoulder. 'Just go in, ignore them, and everything will be fine.'
Taking a deep breath, Anna forced her face into a neutral expression and turned the doorknob decisively.
The room's light was on, and there were Sienna and Liza, sitting together on one of the beds, talking in hushed tones and laughing.
