The conversation between Anna, Elara, and Aria was abruptly interrupted by the teacher's booming voice echoing across the courtyard.
"Line up, everyone! Quickly! Move! It's time for the final stretches. Let's go, no pretending you didn't hear me! Everyone on their feet!"
A chorus of complaints filled the air as the students reluctantly rose from the ground.
"Line up again?" a boy muttered from the back.
"I'm done for! I can't even move a finger…" complained a girl leaning on her friend's shoulder.
"This is inhumane," added another boy, practically crawling to join the rest.
Anna, barely recovered from the last exercise, felt a small comfort knowing she wasn't the only one exhausted. However, before she could join in the grumbling, the teacher raised an eyebrow, glaring at them with sharp intensity.
