Chapter 33 - Chapter 30

She stood quietly behind the sofa, observing her uncle with a curious gaze, her eyes fixed on the way his fingers moved deftly over the strings.

When William finally noticed her presence, he asked, "Oh, am I disturbing you?"

Yuna shook her head silently, her ponytail bobbing slightly, before responding with a soft "No." William smiled, relieved, and continued writing his melody, his pencil scratching against the paper as he worked.

He noticed Yuna still standing and invited her to join him, "Do you want to help?"

Although she didn't respond verbally, she approached him cautiously, her eyes fixed on the guitar, and sat down on the floor beside him, her legs crossed in a neat triangle.

William took this as a yes and handed her a pencil, and together they began creating music, their heads bent in concentration.

Yuna's reserve began to melt away, and she started to talk and smile more freely, filling William's heart with joy.

They worked in harmony, their creativity flowing together like a river, as they crafted a beautiful melody. Time flew by, and they became so engrossed in their creative session that they forgot about dinner.

"Oh, it's late!" William exclaimed, glancing up at the clock on the wall, its ticking sound filling the room.

"We haven't had dinner!" He realized, his stomach growling in protest.

"Let's go see what we can have," he said, standing up and taking Yuna's hand, leading her to the kitchen.

William glanced through the fridge, finding an array of fresh ingredients, but the thing was that, his culinary skills were limited.

He searched the cabinets, finally finding his trusty instant noodles, a staple he had relied on during his highschool days.

"Found it!" he exclaimed, grinning, holding up the package.

Yuna raised an eyebrow, her eyes sparkling with amusement, "But my mom says that having noodles for dinner is unhealthy." William winked mischievously, "Tsk, your mom doesn't have to know. Shh, it'll be our little secret." He made her pinky promise, and they prepared the noodles together, the sound of sizzling water and the aroma of seasoning filling the air.

As they sat down to eat, William warned Yuna "Blow on it first, it's hot."

They sat on the floor, their legs crossed, and began to eat, the noodles slurping down their throats. The combination of the cold air, hot noodles, and sweet melody created a cozy atmosphere, ultimately they both fell asleep, etching a warm memory in both their hearts.
