The modern decor was sleek and minimalist, with plenty of natural light pouring in. A low-slung sofa stretched along one wall, near the entrance and a low-profile coffee table sat in front of it, adorned with a simple flower vase. A spiral staircase curved upward, leading to the next floor. The room's color scheme was a crisp white and black.
Kaida's eyes widened as she took it all in - she had been told the house was small, but it felt enormous to her. 'I thought she said it was a small house?' she murmured to herself, her expectations clearly exceeded.
Yuna turned to face Kaida, gesturing expansively as she gave a brief tour of the room. "So, this is the living room, the kitchen is over there, and the balcony is through that door. If you need anything at all, just let me know, okay?" With that, Yuna swiftly retreated to her bedroom, leaving Kaida no opportunity to ask any questions or respond.
"What abou-" Kaida was left standing alone, feeling a bit bewildered by Yuna's hasty departure.

Kaida found herself alone in the spacious living room, feeling overwhelmed by the grandeur of the house. After struggling to navigate the layout, she realized she needed assistance.
She made her way upstairs, turned left, and stopped in front of a white wooden door.
"Is this Yuna's room?" she wondered.
Kaida knocked gently on the door and waited for a response. Yuna's voice came from inside, "Yes?" As Yuna opened the door slightly, her head poked out like a curious bobbin.
"Could you please tell me where my room is?" Kaida asked whilst scratching the back of her neck.
Yuna's face flushed with embarrassment, realizing she had forgotten to show Kaida to her room, despite her mom's explicit instructions. Yuna's endearing awkwardness reminded Kaida of someone close to her heart.
"Err, right this way" Yuna led Kaida to the room just a few doors away from her's. Yuna stopped in front of the wooden door and said " Here it is" she pointed, reaching out to open the door but stopped mid air when she suddenly realized something.
"Oh right. I almost forgot" perplexed Kaida gave Yuna a confused look.
"It's nothing, you can go in... I'll be right back" Yuna had vanished yet again leaving Kaida all by herself.
Kaida entered the room, but a cloud of dust immediately overwhelmed her sensitive nose, triggering a fit of nonstop sneezes.
Yuna appeared out of nowhere, her sudden presence startling Kaida.
"Are you okay?" Yuna asked, concern etched on her face.
Kaida, still sneezing, grasped her suitcase tightly. As she scanned Yuna's attire, she couldn't help but stifle a laugh. Yuna wore an apron with the bold writing "CLEAN OR KISS," rubber gloves, and a mask, looking like a determined warrior armed with a vacuum and duster.
Yuna's determination was palpable. "You can go downstairs, I'll handle this." But Kaida, still sneezing, insisted on helping. Yuna swiftly dodged her attempts to take the cleaning equipment, her mom's instructions echoing in her mind, she needed to prove that she was independent enough.
"No, I'll do it." Kaida's persistent sneezes instantly made her nose turn a bright shade of red
"Here" Yuna offered her a spare nose mask from her apron pocket. Yuna Stood on her toes in order to reach Kaida's height and assisted her in putting the mask on.
There, their eyes met, and Yuna felt a flutter in her chest. She quickly looked away, remarking, "(Scoff), that should help." Yuna urged Kaida to leave the room, and as Kaida departed, Yuna shut the door behind her, unable to understand why her heart was still fluttering from their brief eye contact.
