The conversation didn't last long.. she had to get ready for work, and I knew it was unfair to keep her on the line. As much as I craved the comfort of her voice, I didn't want to disrupt her routine. I forced myself to smile as I told her to have a good day, though I just wanted to spend more and more time with her, and my work also demanded my attention. Sighing I walked outside to my team.

Kristen POV: 

After I ended the call with Karim, I noticed a notification for a picture he had sent me. I immediately opened the message, my heart fluttering with curiosity. 

As the images loaded on my screen, I smiled and warmth filled my heart, and I couldn't help but chuckle softly. It was just a picture, but it meant more... Karim remembered something that mattered to me, and that simple, silent gesture meant more than any words he could have said.4
