Karim nodded, a tension in his posture that mirrored my own. "Let's go."

I couldn't risk it, so I followed him to his hotel.
When we reached his room, Karim turned to me. "You can stay here. I have some work to finish," he said, picking up his laptop and heading towards the balcony.

My eyes settled on Karim, who was already engrossed in a phone call.
He looked more handsome than ever, his features sharper, more defined.
