Chapter 8 - Taka

As they stood in the serene garden of the Aurelia estate, Victoria looked at her grandson with a mixture of pride and fondness. The three days they had spent together had been intense yet fulfilling. Lysander had absorbed knowledge and skills that would normally take weeks to master, thanks to Victoria's guidance and his own innate talent.

"Alright, I've already taught you everything I can to help you. You can try to create one or two light spells before the academy starts, although usually, it would take longer," Victoria said, her voice tinged with satisfaction at Lysander's progress.

"Thank you for everything, grandmother," Lysander said gratefully. He understood the significance of the techniques she had imparted to him. They were not just spells; they were a legacy, passed down through generations of their family.

Seraphina, standing beside her son, stepped forward and hugged her mother. "Thank you for everything, Mother," she said softly, her voice filled with warmth and respect.

"Hehehe, no need to be formal. We are family, after all," Victoria chuckled affectionately as she embraced her daughter. Despite Seraphina's age, Victoria still saw her as her little girl.

"Alright then, young man, go kick up a storm in the academy. No need to hold back or anything like that," Victoria teased, her eyes twinkling mischievously.

"Of course, just wait for my good news," Lysander replied with a confident smile, his determination shining through.

"Since you said that, you better achieve it, brat. Prove to me that you can compete with the top geniuses on the continent," Victoria challenged him, her tone both playful and encouraging.

With a final wave of her hand, Victoria disappeared into the darkness that surrounded her, leaving Lysander and Emilia standing in the garden.

Unbeknownst to Lysander, Victoria had to return to her duties as the leader of Eclipse, an enigmatic organization known for its expertise in information and networking. Eclipse operated behind the scenes, its members skilled in espionage, intelligence gathering, and strategic operations. Victoria's mastery of the darkness attribute allowed her to extract memories even from the deceased, a rare and invaluable skill in their line of work.

After breakfast, Lish made his way to one of the elite training rooms in their estate. It was a facility of unparalleled quality, surpassing even the finest training centers in the world. This was one of the many perks he enjoyed as a member of the two most powerful families ruling Aurelia.

"Young master, the room and all preparations are complete. Please call for me if you need anything else," Sooka, his father's butler, said with utmost respect.

"Alright, thank you for your efforts," Lish replied, as he descended toward the training room.

The training room was vast, comparable to a large mansion. Its walls and floor were imbued with powerful mana, ensuring that the environment was ideal for intense training sessions. The air itself shimmered with particles of mana, infused from countless precious mana stones embedded in the room's structure. These mana stones were rare and exorbitantly expensive, known for their ability to enhance magical energies and create a perfect training ambiance.

As Lish entered, he could feel the surge of mana coursing through his veins, invigorating his senses. The walls were lined with intricate runes that glowed faintly, each one a testament to the room's enchantments designed to absorb and dissipate any stray magical energy, ensuring a safe yet challenging environment. The floor was made of a resilient material that could withstand the most powerful spells and physical impacts, allowing Lish to train without holding back.

In one corner of the room, advanced magical devices were set up, capable of simulating various combat scenarios. These devices could project illusions of opponents, each programmed with different fighting styles and skill levels, providing Lish with diverse and unpredictable challenges. There was also a section dedicated to physical conditioning, equipped with weights and machines enhanced with enchantments to increase their effectiveness.

Lish moved towards the center of the room, where a circular platform lay. This was the heart of the training room, a place where the mana concentration was highest. Standing there, he could feel his power amplify, his mind becoming sharper and his body more attuned to the flow of magic. This was the spot where he would push his limits, hone his skills, and prepare for the challenges that lay ahead.

As he began his training, the room responded to his presence. The mana stones pulsed in sync with his movements, the runes on the walls flared brighter, and the air hummed with energy. This was his sanctuary, a place where he could grow stronger and refine his abilities, all under the watchful eye of the enchantments that kept him safe.

After closing the door behind him, Lish glanced around the expansive training room. Unlike many modern facilities, no visible CCTV cameras were monitoring his every move. It was clear that privacy was highly valued here, likely because it wasn't just Lish who trained in this space. His father, older sister, and even his mother had utilized this room for their own training sessions in the past.

"System, are you there?" Lish queried silently in his mind.

[Yes, I'm always here, host], the system responded promptly.

"From now on, I'll call you Taka," Lish declared, assigning a name to the system.

[Understood. From this moment onward, I am Taka, ready to fulfill your requests], the system acknowledged.
