'I almost killed him' Sora thought while looking at Neji with a stoic face.
Internally he was anything but stoic.
He had an apologetic face, more like a wry smile, but he chose to not show this as that would lead to Neji's already hurt ego to exist to nothingness.
He looked slightly at his side and saw Guy closing his gates. The green hue around him disappeared.
It was natural for Guy to do it, as that jutsu was dangerous to Neji.
"This is not over, I can still fight," Neji said while trying to muster whatever chakra was left inside him and released a very fast vacuum palm at him.
Sora side-stepped the compressed air hurling at him almost instinctively.
Due to still being enhanced by his shape-shifting jutsu, doing so was very easy.
Neji realized that his chakra was almost depleted.
'If I don't have chakra, then I will fight him directly in taijutsu' Neji stepped forward intending to close the distance, but just as he tried walking, he found himself going towards the ground.
'Despite having a byakugan, he didn't realise the state of his body' Sora could tell Neji's body condition despite not having his sensory field active.
As a trained Medical Ninja, He could tell that Neji's body had long reached its limit, whatever movement hwas appening till now was just his adrenaline and his body trying to find energy from whatever source present inside his boy.
Sora was actually surprised that Neji lasted this long, He was expecting him to kick the bucket before only.
He saw Neji's face hitting the ground and the latter not moving.
"That was really a youthful display" Guy commented
"Ye-" Sora immediately jumped back.
The reason was due to instinctively feeling Neji's fingers move.
Sora's eyes went to his body and saw his various muscles throughout the body twitching.
He then soon found Neji actually moving his body towards him, more like crawling.
Sora was bewildered and more shocked at this. He turned to Guy who was crying rivers of tears.
"Your Youth burns brightly Neji, I am so happy to be your sensei" Sora didn't have any words to say to interrupt this moment.
'Should I knock him or not?' Sora felt awkward about whether to do it or not, as then his next interaction with Guy would become unpredictable in his eyes.
'Still, I didn't expect this much determination from Neji, maybe Lee was the kind of person to do this, and probably would have if given the chance, but Neji, crawled towards him. this is not even a life-and-death scenario, what is driving him? Is it his pride?...' Sora's eyes widened.
'It must be Guy sensei's teaching, no wonder Lee trains like crazy and so does Guy-sensei, to be serious like during life and death scenarios, that would explain his determination' Sora nodded to himself.
He then looked at Neji who had stopped moving. 'He had already gone to unconsciousness before only, his body finally gave up'
"Well, that was an interesting battle I guess" Sora awkwardly said, to break Guy out of his musings.
"Yeah, that jutsu of yours was really dangerous, I could see it being a variant of Lord Fourth's Rasengan, but its speed was really outrageous" Guy commented.
Sora's eyes widened as he remembered about the jutsu he used.
He then suddenly started laughing slowly and then it got converted into fully blown laughter.
"Hahahahaha... Hahahahahaha.... Hahahaaha.... Hahahaa"
'I fucking made that on the spot, didn't think it would work, If my clone fires that jutsu at me, I would die before even able to move, Shape-shifting jutsu or not' Sora was VeRy happy about this realization
This made Guy weirded out and sweatdrop when Sora started laughing suddenly.
After half a minute of Sora's continuous laughter, Guy decided to join in and he also started laughing.
This made Sora's laughter dim a bit before suddenly converting into more loud intensity.
He genuinely found Guy laughing along with him funny and subconsciously increased the loudness of his laughter.
However, this caused Guy to increase the loudness of his laughter too.
"HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAH"
"JAJAJAJJAJAJJAJAJJAJAJAJJAJ"
This led to Sora increasing his intensity of laughter again, which led to Guy doing the same, which somehow turned into a competition between those who could laugh loudly.
Both were subconsciously using chakra to amplify their voice.
The animals in the area were already scared due to a large-scale battle happening, seeing large amounts of water materializing in the air and seen from far away, which only made them more scared when they heard the loud sound of rasengan variant destroying the area continuously.
They were more than terrified when they heard the sounds of two demons laughing and the sound increasing continuously.
They became more scared when the voice continuously increased.
Animals or Chakra Beasts running away from kilometres of the area.
Half an Hour Later :
"My throat hurts" Sora could be seen crying while a green glow could be seen in his hand, placed on his neck, on the area where his sound box was.
"Haha, You really have the youthful stamina to be able to last this long" Sora was thoroughly bewildered seeing Guy's voice not even affected by their competition of who could laugh louder.
They were going at it for nearly half an hour.
Guy had collected his disciples and they all were sitting at one part of the forest.
The three in question are still unconscious.
"Still, I Forgot to ask, but why were you laughing?" Guy asked him with a curious tone.
'You are asking this now? When we even had a competition over who can laugh loudly?' Sora was thoroughly bewildered, however, he didn't show it on his poker face.
It was the same as asking "Who is Sora?" after reading 173 chapters of NCE.
"Ahem, I was just happy that I was able to create an S-rank Jutsu" Sora hid the fact that he created that on the spot.
"Congratulations, your youth burns brightly as the new trees grow in the fall" Guy congratulated him with a "Nice-Guy Pose"
"Thank you" 'Did he mistakenly exchange spring with fall... No that's highly unlikely, It's more likely for him to say that intentionally, did he indirectly try to say that I am able to do Impossible, wow' Sora was surprised at the conclusion he made about the situation.
Sora then proceeded to ask Guy if his throat needed some healing, but Guy rejected him. Sora didn't protest as Guy knew his body better than him due to being a ninja specializing in taijutsu of all things and arguably the strongest taijutsu user in the entire world even without considering Eight Gates.
'He could rival me in his base form, no my instincts tell me that it would be highly likely to lead to my defeat if I don't use the new Rasengan variant, even with my new jutsu, Guy would be able to defeat me with Fifth or Sixth gate, I wonder if he can open the Seventh gate' Sora wondered while moving to heal the enemies he had beaten now.
He started with Neji and started healing him.
He still had a lot of chakras to spare to heal.
Medical Ninjas generally faced the problem of not having much chakra, due to Medical techniques not only having high chakra control requirements but also being highly chakra-intensive.
However, Sora was not behind in any of the areas, despite having a battle against Team Guy which would lead to a close battle with a Normal Elite Jounin.
"That jutsu should bring me to S-rank level, right?" Sora suddenly asked.
"Hmm, Let me think" Guy stroked his chin while thinking deeply.
Sora was a bit startled seeing this. 'Guy could think?' His gaze was almost screaming that out loud.
Unfortunately or Fortunately Guy's eyes were closed, so he didn't see that.
"I believe yes, that technique's speed would kill most of the Elite Jounins even if they are not ambushed, you could even kill some S-ranks if you can ambush them, but that's highly unlikely as they wouldn't be S-rank otherwise" Guy said with a serious voice.
