Creating the Philosopher's Stone is far from a simple endeavor. John has spent the last two weeks secluded in the alchemy room, his focus unwavering. The crucible before him radiates a mesmerizing glow, casting a dance of blue, red, and purple light across the room. As the luminescence fades, a blue stone materializes within the crucible. "It appears this one requires further enhancement," John muses, examining the stone. Unlike the traditional red Philosopher's Stone, which demands an entire warehouse of materials for its creation, this blue variant seems less demanding. Despite this, John's expression remains stoic, though a hint of disappointment lingers.
Clutching the stone, John feels a surge of magical power coursing through him. This is the third Philosopher's Stone he has successfully crafted. The first was transformed into a magical wand, a gift for Nagini. The second was embedded into the hilt of the Silver Wick sword. Now, holding the third stone, John has different plans. He transfigures a silver ring into a unique glove and sets the Philosopher's Stone into its back. Instantly, the glove emits a soft blue glow, its power amplified by the connection to five other magic power crystals, significantly enhancing its strength.
With a mere gesture, John demonstrates the glove's capabilities by effortlessly disintegrating a teapot back into clay and a chair into its original wooden form. Utilizing his wand, now augmented by the magic crystal and Philosopher's Stone, even a simple Shattering Curse gains the power to obliterate objects completely. "This amplifies the spell's power by nearly an entire level," John estimates, noting the significant increase in his Shattering Curse's potency.
The glove retracts into a ring as John summons the Sword of Silver Wick into his hand. The blade, now adorned with golden lines resembling fractures, seems more formidable. "It requires an addition," he decides, imbuing the blade with fire and electric arcs. Uttering an incantation, "Fight through thorns and thorns," he observes as the sword gains an almost invisible protective layer, rendering it impervious to damage.
John tests the sword's enhanced capabilities on a piece of gold, cleanly slicing it in half with one swift motion. The cut is so precise that it cannot be mended by any repairing spell. "Permanent damage. What is severed cannot be restored," he remarks, satisfied with the sword's lethal efficiency.
After further enchanting the Sword of Silver Wick with new spells, its power grows exponentially. Leaving the alchemy room, John heads to his office, carrying a newly created artifact named "Exclusive Right." Its name is as commanding as its function is revolutionary in the magical world. This artifact, a one-time-use item, creates a forbidden force field spanning 50 meters. Within this field, the ability to fly or apparate is nullified, and magical effects, whether from the user or others, are suppressed. However, it has its limitations; the necklace, powered by a magic crystal, can only suppress magic up to a certain level, estimated to be around level 4. Thus, its effectiveness is confined to individuals within this power range.
John has only produced a few of these artifacts, making them exceedingly rare. He keeps just one in his office. Upon seeing the artifact, Tang Mi, who had come to report on Mundungus's progress with an advertisement campaign, curiously inspects it but maintains his composure. "My lord, Mundungus has successfully completed the advertisement," he reports. Mundungus's recent enthusiasm likely stems from his desire to regain John's favor. His Excellency Johnny Silverhand, John, nodded thoughtfully. The Quidditch World Cup was drawing near, and Barty Crouch's name was increasingly featured in the newspapers—a promising sign that Peter Pettigrew had seemingly faded from public memory. Pierce had conducted a thorough search around Azkaban, aware that Pettigrew was an unregistered Animagus capable of transforming into a rat, and was determined to capture him. Aside from the Ministry of Magic, Sirius Black was probably the only other person who still remembered Pettigrew. Desperate to clear his name, Sirius had approached the Ministry of Magic. Unlike his previous clandestine visits, this time he entered openly, which made him exceedingly uncomfortable. Disguising his face, he implored the Ministry to allow him to search Azkaban, a request that was predictably denied. The Ministry was not inclined to yield to external pressures, leaving Sirius with no one to direct his frustration towards. With Fudge demoted and Scrimgeour transferred, Sirius found himself without a target for his anger and returned home in defeat. He had visited St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries multiple times, hoping to heal the scars on his face, but the curse was unique to Snape. Only Snape could reverse it, making him a formidable adversary. Ultimately, Sirius sought Dumbledore's assistance, leading to Snape lifting the curse at a great personal cost to Sirius's pride.
John speculated about Peter Pettigrew's escape, recalling Lucius's mention of the Dark Mark's call, presumably to summon Voldemort. "This life is truly resilient; they refuse to die," John mused, acknowledging the tenacity of both master and servant. Voldemort's survival, even after being deprived of Nagini's venom by John, was a testament to his will to live. Pettigrew's escape, despite being heavily dosed with Veritaserum, was nothing short of miraculous.
As John reflected on these thoughts, Pettigrew reemerged in a remote Albanian forest, seizing a wand from an unfortunate victim in a daze.
On August 22nd, Watson found himself entangled in a complex situation. An entity known as 'Investor' had targeted Hua Sheng, a group with significant resources and control over London's underworld. Finn Wallace, a notable figure, had become a mere pawn in their game after his aggressive tactics had angered the investors. Sean Wallace, having somehow learned of these influential individuals, sought revenge, dragging Watson into the fray. Uncle Seryozha intervened personally, adding another layer to the unfolding drama.
Meanwhile, John was distracted by the peculiar meal Mrs. Wick had prepared. "Mom, why did you add dish soap to the rice?" he inquired, puzzled by her unconventional cleaning method. Mrs. Wick, sitting down with grace, presented the banana mango chicken wing rice, a dish she claimed was a renowned delicacy from the Celestial Dynasty. John, having previously lived in the Celestial Dynasty, knew otherwise and wondered how to gently inform Mrs. Wick that such a dish would be considered blasphemous there. His contemplation was abruptly interrupted by a loud explosion. Rushing outside, John saw that the Dursleys' window had been shattered, signaling the beginning of yet another unexpected adventure. Vernon Dursley's roar echoed through the house, a sound all too familiar yet always startling. His voice, hoarse from shouting, filled the air as John caught sight of an electric stove being hurled out of the kitchen. "What's going on over there?" Mrs. Wick inquired, noticing the commotion. John, with a shrug, replied nonchalantly, "Perhaps the fireplace exploded." Little did he know, his offhand comment had unwittingly described the actual chaos unfolding at the Dursleys'.
The Weasley family, disheartened yet determined, had attempted to retrieve Harry through the fireplace, unaware that the Dursleys had sealed it off. In a desperate bid to make their entrance, Mr. Weasley resorted to using a spell to blast open the sealed fireplace, causing havoc in the process.
Vernon Dursley felt as if his lungs were about to burst with fury. He had extended an unusual amount of patience and kindness throughout the holiday, only for it to be repaid with destruction by a group of wizards. At that moment, he could no longer contain the pent-up anger that had accumulated over the holiday. The frustration and indignation he had been suppressing were unleashed in a torrent of rage, marking yet another chaotic encounter between the Dursleys and the magical world.
