"Hey, where are the kids?" Fumiko asked as she got downstairs and spoke to the nanny.
"The kids are in their room, Madam," the nanny answered.
Soon, Akie and Hiro came down the stairs, hugging her tightly.
"Whoa, whoa, you two have so much energy, I can't hold on," Fumiko said, gasping.
"Why are you two not sleeping? Are you waiting for me to help you sleep?" Fumiko asked.
"No, no, we are big boys. We don't want Mom to sleep with us, but Dad wants you to sleep with him. He was grinning from the moment you arrived," Hiro whispered to Fumiko.
"Grinning? He might be smirking, thinking about how he is going to torture me," Fumiko said, pretending to be scared.
"No, Mom, you are thinking wrong. Dad indeed was smirking, and I'm sure he is happy you have returned. So, let's go to your room. Dad might be waiting," Hiro and Akie said, pulling Fumiko toward the room. As soon as they reached the room, they pushed Fumiko inside and left in a hurry.
