The agents arrived at the surface of the Raft, the sight before them both grim and surreal. Bodies littered the ground, some villains unconscious, others writhing in pain. A few floated in the ocean, casualties of Gojo's relentless assault. The Raft occasionally shook, signifying the intense battles still raging inside.
Sharon stood amidst the chaos, barking orders. "Get them in power dampeners while they're still out cold! We don't need them waking up with full powers." Her voice was steady. The island shook again, signaling another clash inside.
Carol Danvers landed beside her, a look of concern on her face. "What's the situation on the Raft?" she asked, scanning the area for threats.
Sharon explained, "It's chaos in there. Gojo's been taking down villains left and right. He's the only reason we're still holding on."
"Gojo?"
" He's someone who caught Fury's interest, he's the one who helped the avengers against the masters of evil a few weeks back."
"Well, he does look like he can handle himself and from the looks of all this downed idiots he's definitely a heavy hitter." Carol said while looking at the unconscious forms of some heavy hitters.
Carol nodded, then looked at Sharon. "Are you alright?"
Sharon nodded slightly. "I'm fine… though I would have been mince meat if it weren't for him." She pointed towards Gojo, who was busy dismantling the Wrecking Crew.
Gojo moved with unparalleled speed and precision, using telekinetic slashes to cut through the air. Thunderball swung his wrecking ball at him, but Gojo sidestepped effortlessly, sending a telekinetic slash that shattered the ball into pieces. Bulldozer charged, but Gojo's barrier held firm, and with a flick of his wrist, he sent Bulldozer crashing into a wall, bursting through it to the edge of the raft.
Carol observed with a mix of admiration and curiosity. " He's definitely strong, maybe even stronger than the mutant with Xavier," she mused, releasing a blast of energy to stop two attackers from coming near them. "Can you still fight?" she asked Sharon.
Sharon nodded. "Where are the others?"
Carol shrugged. "Most are stopping those who managed to leave the island. Pretty sure all the heavy hitters have left by now, but I'm here just in case. I'm going to have some fun now." She blasted herself into the air, heading into the fray.
The agent shook her head in amusement and continued to direct the other agents, ensuring all unconscious villains were secured.
Inside the Raft, Gojo faced Carnage, whose red tendrils shot out towards him. Gojo simply teleported past them. "This is getting old fast," he muttered, knocking another lackey unconscious on his way to the control room. More footsteps echoed around him as a dozen more bodyguards approached.
"You guys keep coming and coming," Gojo complained, telekinetically blasting some away. He sensed a chameleon-like enemy attempting a sneak attack. The villain, Spider-Man's old foe, the Chameleon, now equipped with cloaking technology, tried to land a hit. Gojo deflected the attacks, annoyed at the constant interruptions.
He teleported to the control room, where Carnage was holding several S.H.I.E.L.D. agents with his tendrils. Gojo used telekinetic slashes to sever the appendages, freeing the agents. The creature hissed, "He dares to come at Carnage."
Red tendrils dashed towards Gojo, intent on piercing his body. Gojo sent out continuous telekinetic slashes, severing the tendrils. He grabbed hold of all the remaining appendages with telekinesis and squeezed violently until they dislodged. Carnage screeched in pain, his tendrils slashed cleanly off and ripped apart. The symbiote's anger overrode its rational faculties, growing many times its size and shaping its tendrils into multiple weapons. They bounced off Gojo's body TK shield a few millimeters above his skin surface, making it seem as if he were invulnerable.
"Are you done destroying your body parts?" Gojo's voice was cold, his eyes darkening to an abyssal shade, causing fear in Carnage. "You do realize this is futile for you?"
Carnage's eyes widened as he saw Gojo's eyes turn red, feeling a seething heat. The temperature around them spiked as Gojo unleashed a concentrated blast of pure heat energy, lancing straight through Carnage's body. The symbiote let out a final gasp as its form was blown apart and erased from existence. The ground melted where the beam had struck, penetrating the other end of the Raft and shooting into the ocean.
Above, agents saw the beam and started murmuring. "What the hell was that?" one of them exclaimed.
Sharon, overseeing the situation, thought, "Gojo, what the hell is going on down there?"
Gojo's eyes steadily returned to their brilliant blue color, the temperature still high around the room. The destruction was evident, with the floor and ceiling melted in places. "How pitiful," Gojo muttered, surveying the wreckage.
Suddenly, he sensed something deep within the earth beginning to stir, a rage unlike anything he had ever felt. The Raft began to shake more violently, metal bending downward as a huge wave of gravity forced everyone to the ground.
"Fury!" a voice boomed across the entire Raft. "Bring me, Nick Fury!" The island itself began to crush under the force of Graviton's fury.
Fury knew exactly who was responsible for this, and immediately threw a glare towards the sky as he saw a man with long, shaggy hair and beard in a blue and silver suit floating in the air.
Fury knew this was his cue. "Abort! Abort! Everyone off the Raft NOW!!!" he commanded, heading for the helicopter. But before he could reach it, he felt an invisible force lift him into the air. His rifle slipped from his grasp, falling uselessly to the ground. As he was brought eye level with the floating Graviton, he instinctively reached for his pistol.
Before he could fire, a mere flick of Graviton's finger sent the gun spiraling out of his hand. Now unarmed, Fury found himself at the full mercy of the gravity-controlling villain.
"Graviton," Fury growled, his voice dripping with contempt. "What do you want?"
"Oh, I think you know," Graviton replied with a malicious grin. "I want to treat you with the same kindness you've shown me. I'm going to take years off your life!" With a casual flex of his hand, an invisible force grabbed Fury, making his body spasm uncontrollably.
"On second thought," Graviton mused, "I'll take it all."
Below, the agents continued their desperate evacuation, battling both the remaining villains and the effects of Graviton's power. Maria Hill coordinated from the command center, issuing rapid orders to ensure as many agents and prisoners were secured as possible.
