Hart Phoenix was about to leave when he heard this, and his eyes lit up. "The Tenth Court? I remember the one who completed the pinnacle task in the Realm was from the Tenth Court, right?"
Someone beside him immediately said, "Young Master Hart, you don't need to worry about that. That person must have been lucky, encountering only newly admitted Realm-level opponents, while you have defeated Integration-level experts."
Hart frowned, "There is no luck in the Battle of Realms. Arrange it immediately; I want to go to the Tenth Court."
The surrounding people were shocked. "Young Master, the Fifth Court has rules against leaving at will."
Hart sneered, "Tell the academy it was my brother who sent me to the Tenth Court. He has always hoped I could marry Xiyue and gain the support of the Lingmeng Clan. This is a good opportunity."
"Yes, Young Master."
In the Eighth Court of the Starry Sky, a pair of eyes opened under the scorching magma. "Lanuk, go to the Tenth Court and bring Xiyue back. She shouldn't be there. Tell her that if she wants Wangchuan Sandsea, she can have it after I take over the Tenth Court. She can play with it as much as she likes, I can even gift it to her."
Outside the magma, a man at the Integration level responded. His body was brimming with terrifying star energy. He was Lanuk, ranked second on the Fire Region Training List, only below the top spot, far surpassing Asalom, who had intercepted the Tenth Court's assessment. Asalom was merely fifth on the list, incomparable to Lanuk.
In the endless territory, at the Ninth Court of the Starry Sky, a deep voice echoed, "Boni, go to the Tenth Court and see if there are any geniuses there who could threaten our Ninth Court."
A young man opened his eyes, black flames extinguishing in his pupils. "Yes, Mentor."
In the Tenth Court, Cannon and Little Cannon were together. "Brother, be honest, how have I treated you?" Cannon stared at Little Cannon with a serious face.
Little Cannon thought for a moment and replied seriously, "Not great."
Cannon's mouth twitched, "I'll be better to you from now on."
"Brother, stop with the nonsense. You just want Xiyue's latest single, right? You want me to lend you money to buy it," Little Cannon said warily.
Cannon chuckled awkwardly, "Brother, you know me, I don't have many other pursuits, I just love Xiyue's songs. Come on, lend me some money."
Little Cannon immediately refused, "No way, I like Xiyue's songs too. I need to buy it myself."
"Then let me listen to it."
"Impossible. Xiyue's songs are like a wife, not to be lent out."
"You're too stingy, just listening won't kill you."
"It would be very uncomfortable, can't get over it."
"Lend it to me, I promise I won't fight you for the domain lord of the Prison Path."
"No way, no discussion."
...
Just then, a notification appeared on their personal terminals. Both of them looked and their expressions changed, incredulous. "Xiyue, Xiyue is coming to the Tenth Court? Is it true?"
Cannon cheered excitedly, "Xiyue is coming."
Little Cannon was also excited, muttering, "Xiyue is coming, Xiyue is coming, I need an autograph, a photo, I need..."
Suddenly, a loud shout, "You two, go welcome the guests immediately."
Cannon and Little Cannon quickly responded, "Yes, Mentor of Sandsea."
Half an hour later, at the Tenth Court space station, the Lingmeng Clan's spaceship landed.
Cannon and Little Cannon watched the cabin with excitement. They were both fervent fans of Xiyue and couldn't believe they would actually see her in person. It was like a dream come true.
As the cabin door opened, a team of female soldiers from the Lingmeng Clan emerged, followed by a few young men with proud expressions. They were from the Eighth Court, assigned to protect Xiyue from any disturbance and to eliminate any riffraff for their master, like the two starry-eyed guys in front of them who looked like troublemakers.
"Who are you? Doesn't the Tenth Court have any proper students to welcome Xiyue?" one young man said with displeasure.
Cannon stepped forward, his eyes fixed on the cabin door, not even glancing at the speaker. "We are the best they have. Where's Xiyue? Why hasn't she come out yet?"
The young man frowned, blocking Cannon's path. "Watch your tone. You are just students of an academy that was expelled, you have no right to call the young clan leader Xiyue your junior."
Cannon sneered, ignoring him.
The young man was furious.
At that moment, a beautiful young woman with long blue hair to her waist appeared, her bright eyes and perfect smile mesmerizing everyone. She was Xiyue, the young clan leader of the Lingmeng Clan. "As long as it hasn't been abolished, the Tenth Court is still the Tenth Court. It's proper to call me junior. Xiyue greets the seniors."
Cannon and Little Cannon stared at Xiyue, entranced. She was so breathtaking, her presence like a soothing stream amidst the vast cosmos, making them feel like they were in a dream.
Cannon cleared his throat, his face serious. "Junior Xiyue, hello. My name is Cannon, you can call me Brother Cannon."
Little Cannon stepped forward too, "Junior Xiyue, my name is Little Cannon, you can call me Little Brother Cannon."
Everyone around was stunned, Brother Cannon? Such a vulgar nickname, were these two scoundrels trying to flirt with the young clan leader?
Xiyue was taken aback, initially feeling angry, but seeing the excitement in their eyes, she suppressed her anger and forced a smile, almost melting Cannon and Little Cannon's hearts. "I'll call you Senior Cannon and Senior Little Cannon instead."
"Doesn't matter, Junior Xiyue, can we take a photo together, maybe a short video? If we could have a meal together, that would be perfect," Cannon's words were cut off by a middle-aged woman, also very beautiful, who stood protectively in front of Xiyue. "Don't bother the young clan leader. She is here for Wangchuan Sandsea and has no time for other matters."
The two were disappointed.
Xiyue looked around the space station. She had heard that the Tenth Court had been expelled to the outer universe, and most of the students had left, leaving only two who had nowhere else to go. They must be the two in front of her, representing the Tenth Court, an academy soon to be abolished.
If it weren't for the impending takeover by the Fire Region, she wouldn't have come at this time. Once the Fire Region took over, coming here would mean facing someone troublesome.
"Seniors, how many students does the Tenth Court have now?" Xiyue asked curiously.
Little Cannon replied, "Fourteen."
A young man behind Xiyue sneered, "The once prestigious Tenth Court has fallen to this state. No wonder there are rumors it's about to be abolished. Having you here is a disgrace to the name of the Starry Sky War Academy."
Little Cannon raised an eyebrow, glancing at him, "Our Tenth Court values quality over quantity. We're not a shelter for everyone."
"What did you say?" the young man was furious.
Xiyue raised her hand, her tone cold, "Do not disrespect the Tenth Court. Another word and you will return."
The young man bowed his head, his gaze dark, "Yes, young clan leader."
Xiyue turned to Cannon and Little Cannon, "Please take me to greet the Tenth Court's mentor."
Cannon smiled, "No need for that. We don't have many rules. Mentor of Sandsea said you can go straight to Wangchuan Sandsea to train."
Xiyue's eyes brightened, and she bowed slightly, "Thank you, seniors. Please lead the way."
The two immediately led the way, but the Lingmeng Clan's entourage was stopped. Not everyone could enter the Starry Sky War Academy.
Xiyue didn't object, taking only a few students from the Eighth Court with her.
Through the teleportation device, they arrived at Wangchuan Sandsea. Coincidentally, they saw a man and a woman standing in the desert. The woman seemed about to enter, and the man had just come out.
The woman was Michelle, and the man was Shuzi. He had come to Wangchuan Sandsea after being disheartened by his initial Battle of Realms experience. He had been training here since, unaware of external events. Now feeling some progress, he planned to rejoin the Battle of Realms.
Xiyue's group's appearance caught the attention of Michelle and Shuzi. They didn't expect to meet others here.
Xiyue's gaze passed over Shuzi to Michelle, a slight smile on her face. "I didn't expect to see the Red Lotus Enchantress here, pleasure to meet you."
Michelle stared at Xiyue, recalling something, "I didn't expect to see the famous young clan leader of the Lingmeng Clan here."
"I heard you joined the Ten Decisions Council. Having a strong sister must be nice," Xiyue teased, her tone filled with mockery and a hint of dissatisfaction.
Michelle was indifferent, "Are you dissatisfied?"
Xiyue smiled lightly, "Sister Xue, even if I am dissatisfied, so what? No one can defy the Ten Decisions
Council's ruling."
Michelle said nothing, locking eyes with Xiyue.
Cannon and Little Cannon exchanged glances. These two had a history. Though it seemed like their first meeting, there was clear animosity.
"Young clan leader, should I teach them a lesson?" a young man whispered.
Xiyue snorted, "Teach her a lesson? She's the Red Lotus Enchantress."
"Red Lotus Enchantress?" The group was puzzled. One of them suddenly realized who she was and paled, casting a wary glance at Michelle, staying silent.
Shuzi walked straight to the teleportation device, "Please step aside."
Xiyue glanced at him, finding him unremarkable and not worth noting. The Tenth Court had only Michelle worth paying attention to. She stepped through the teleportation device. One of the young men in her group, the one she had scolded earlier, intentionally blocked Shuzi, glaring at him. He harbored a grudge against the Tenth Court and wanted to humiliate someone from an academy he believed should have been abolished long ago. He was also from the Fire Region.
Cannon and Little Cannon stepped out of the teleportation device and saw Shuzi being provoked. They said nothing; the path of cultivation was never smooth. If one couldn't even face a challenge, there was no point in cultivating. This was the Tenth Court; no matter what, they couldn't back down from a challenge.
Xiyue glanced back, uninterested, her focus still on Michelle, who had taken her spot in the Ten Decisions Council, thanks to a powerful sister.
Shuzi faced the young man, his eyes darkening. "Move."
The young man sneered, stepping closer. "You Tenth Court scum are lucky to have passed the obstacles to get in. Remember, I'm from the Fire Region."
Shuzi's eyes narrowed. The Fire Region was one of the three major forces that had intercepted the Tenth Court's assessment and was the most hostile, aiming to replace the Tenth Court and control the keys to the Three Realms and Six Paths.
