Third person's POV.
Lucien has noticed her even before she got to the door to his chamber. She really can't stay still and how the hell did she even get here.
'Did she think this was an exit' he thought.
He was expecting her to turn around when she walked in and saw it wasn't an exit but she didn't. Instead she waltzed into his personal space and again expecting her to go away when she got to his bedroom door but she entered. Not moving at first but after some few moments she began to walk towards him, closer and closer till she got to the side of his bed. Her scent was intoxicating filling his senses, is this how it felt when you meet your betrothed. The elders and every other person persuading him to find his betrothed were not wrong about the feeling. Even when he knew she was a hunter , a dangerous one at that, he still wanted to know how it would feel to hold her in his arms and he didn't wait too long.

Cammile stalked closer and closer to the bed only to be shocked that it was this same annoying man.
She thought; ' I might as well kill him so as to stop running into him'.
She had almost gotten to his bed, it was at this point that she realized she had not planned a way to kill him.
'You are a hunter, Cammile, a walking weapon. You do not need a plan to kill just one vampyre, just get it over with' her mind yelled in her head.
Let's do this, decapitating the head should be easy enough, she concluded and with a speed that couldn't be seen with the human eyes and considered uncommon even for a hunter. Her hand shot to his neck going for the kill. She frowned as she stared at her hand hovering centimeters away from his neck, looking further down she found another hand not hers holding onto her hand, sending tingles through her body. Then the hand pulled, more like yanked her down.
" You are quite bold and daring even for a hunter" his voice rang out as he opened his eyes. Cammile was still in shock, her orbs as round as a saucer pan. All she could think about was how good his voice sounds and his cool breath that fanned her face as he spoke. Not to forget the tingles too damn they were annoyingly pleasant.
" Aren't those good qualities" she replied refusiuto back down or give in irrespective of how good he looks or sounds.
" Not when they get you killed, they are not" he replied, his voice and emotions cool with no fluctuation like he wasn't holding a vampyre hunter in his arms. Since he was not going to be fazed by it then neither would she.
" So you are planning to kill me" she said back thinking about her next move.
" Not if I kill you first" this time her free hand moved faster and got to his neck, her sharp fingers sinking into his flesh but before her hands could go further he gripped it with his pulling out her bloody fingers and in a blink he spun them around, switching positions. Now he was above and she was under, restricting her movements with his body. Cammile held back a moan from how good his body felt on hers with jolts of shocks exploding in her body, it was now she was aware that he was SHIRTLESS! If she feels so good with him just on top of her how would she feel when he is inside.
' Mind out of the gutter Cammile, he is mad now after your little stunt' she reprimanded herself.
Staring into his eyes, his blue eyes or is it silver may be both. How fascinating. She noticed the change in them, they were darker. He is angry.
Lucien stared down at the hunter beneath him, how much he wanted to punish her for what she just performed but all he could think about was how much his body wanted hers still he reined it in.
" I am impressed by your bravado" not everyone almost succeeded in killing the Vampyre king even though he let his guard down but he was also mad, he just didn't know what to do with her. She was a red head, beautiful without doubt and had blue eyes as dark as night. Just from it he could tell how much fight she had in her. It was a whole lot.
" Wonderful, do you want to keep me now instead" she really isn't backing down.
" Do you think you deserve to live?" he sneered but she shrugged before saying;
" Everybody deserves to live"
" But vampyres don't right" he retorted, to which she ignored.
" Who are you?" Cammile finally asked the question that has been bugging her, she keeps running into him every turn she takes and now she was led straight to his chambers not to forget the sparks he erupts in her body.
" I am a vampyre" he decided to state the obvious.
" Oh really? Tell me more" she replied sarcastically with an eye roll.
" How did you get here?" This time he asked.
" With me legs" she responded, well two can play that game. He didn't say anything more after that and neither did she, he just stared down at her and she gazed into his eyes.
Silence wrapped around them, it wasn't awkward and it also wasn't comfortable. It was just an empty silence with two people maintaining eye contact and then he LEANED IN! He fucking LEANED IN! Was he coming in for a kiss, she certainly hoped so but that was her last thought before a heavy blow connected with her head and she backed out.
HE… HEADBUTTED… HER!
HE!.... FUCKING!.... HEADBUTTED!…. HER!
HOW COULD HE!!!
Lucien stared at her unconscious body and the bulging spot reddening right by her forehead.
" That's gonna hurt a lot when she wakes up" he thought. He shouldn't have used that much force. His hands moved to his neck to which the five finger wound had closed; there was barely a mark left.
