The lizard woman was captured by the small team along with a couple of others that were still alive. Each of them had energy-sealing cuffs put on them that even their powerful mutant bodies could not break out of using brute force alone.
Gene was feeling a little tired but her mood was very good. She took out a healing potion and an energy-restoring potion which helped her recover herself properly.
When all of the fatigue disappeared and it was able to be restored, she could feel how her body was full of power once more.
The many wounds she sustained and had to heal from were a very large amount and some could have been life-threatening at times if it was not for her unique restorative abilities.
Gene had started to get a better grasp over her body so she could better control where and how she reformed if all of her was destroyed.
She could move her main body over to closer parts of herself that were scattered all over a battlefield from the wounds she sustained like her blood then regenerate from there.
After facing so much battle damage, her power level kept rising until it rose past her enemy's power levels.
The group found the entrance to the cave hideout that was full of traps and mechanisms but Gene ran through avoiding what she could.
After everything was triggered, the others followed behind.
Toki sighed. 'Could have approached that more delicately… oh well!'
Zimo and Vasili seemed used to her careless and brutish methods. 'Well.. it is not like she can die.'
They arrived in an underground facility where there were all kinds of supplies inside.
Among them were different equipment, potions, serums, ingredients and materials of many types.
Upon venturing further, there were rooms where people were kept chained up or imprisoned.
Some among them were seated in front of some playing video that was on repeat.
Toki turned it off quickly. "They are brainwashing them?"
They moved further in to find more in chains working under poor conditions.
A white-haired fox woman was startled when she saw them. "Who?!"
