I could feel my face heating up as I struggled to open my eyelids. As soon as my eyes opened, I was greeted by the sun. It took some time for my eyes to adjust the bright light of the sun. Laying on my back, i looked in the sky, dazed. Wasn't dead? The first thought that came to my mind. And then panic. I sat up, sweating as my brained panicked. I looked around me. The soil around me had completely dried around. Cracks ran along everywhere. No trace of any tree. Not even a weed dared to grow out of the soil. I gulped as my throat dried. From the panic of not knowing where I am? Or from the insane heat the fucking sun was erupting?
I calmed my breathing. Being calm always helps. I assured myself. First this wasn't the place where I died. Just then I heard a ping. In My Head. And a blue hologram appeared in front of me. Confused once again, I read the text.

At first, I couldn't believe my eyes. I tried rubbing. I was certainly hallucinating? No way this could be real. I gulped, this time clearly from both, thirst and panic. "Uh...Sibyl?" I tried calling the name.

I was shocked it responded. "Uh...where can I get some water?"

"What do you mean by software??" I asked but got no response. I sighed and sat there, staring the ground. Letting the reality the sink. Ofcourse I was dead. I didn't remember smoking weed. This was it. Some miracle. Maybe, but this was a new start for me. Maybe in more hostile world than mine, but it still was. I took a deep breath and stood up. I needed to make some things clear. First would be to find some water. And some humans.
I picked a random direction and began to walk. Soon, I found myself on road. The had small cracks all around it, just like around the ground. I kept on walking, my throat getting dryer every step I took. I turned back at the sound of what seemed like a car. And sure enough, it was. As the car pulled up from the horizon, I got some better look. The car had protection from all over it's side. With spikes attached to every end. Following the car was a van, with the same modifications as the car.
Seeing the sight of the car and the van made my heart jump with joy. Finally, I was saved. I waved my hands to the car. The car stopped right in front of me. A woman jumped out the car. Before I could say anything, I saw the woman shoving the stock of her gun into my face. My nose burned on impact as I stumbled and fell on my back. I felt something metallic clamping my neck with whirring sound. And then what followed after that was pain. The metallic thing began to squeeze my neck, some hard, I was wheezing for breath. But alongside that, I felt jolts of electricity all around my body. I was squirming all over the ground. Than, it all faded to darkness again.
