Basically spoilers about the MC if you don't feel like piecing together his story from the clues I scatter or waiting for the reveals that I have in mind.
Small spoilers -
Stats and basic information:
Name - Drago Geas
Age - 17
Height - 1.88cm
Aspect - Average face, short dark hair, black eyes, muscular body
Aura color - Grey
Aura Level - 0.2 Arcs (about the same amount Ruby and Weiss have by my calculations. Also, yes, Jaune is used as a measuring unit)
Semblance - Analysis
The power to copy and use weaker versions of other people's semblances. These copies become stronger by Analysing the original semblance more and more.
The best way to analyze a semblance is fighting against it when your life is on the line. You can also level up a semblance by just using it, but it's much slower.
A copied semblance has 4 power levels -
Level 1 = 1% power (uses 100x more aura than original)
Level 2 = 10% power (uses 10x more aura)
Level 3 = 25% power (uses 4x more aura)
Level 4 = 50% power (uses 2x more aura)
The levels could also be described as Bottlenecks as after each one the Analysis process gets exponentially harder.
Drago measures progress between levels in "fights"
"Fights" aren't exact (since there are other ways to increase the Analysis level of copied semblances as it was mentioned - using it or watching it being used for years upon years), but using a mediocre fight (against the same semblance user) as the standard, here is the amount of Fights required to progress to the next Level
Level 1 - 0 fights (instant copy by looking at someone with a semblance and using Analysis)
Lvl 1 ->Level 2 - 10 fights
Lvl 2 ->Level 3 - 100 fights
Lvl 3 ->Level 4 - 1000 fights
This huge gap between levels is why Drago isn't overpowered yet. Passive semblances (like Qrow's) can be analyzed too, but much slower than active ones, even when used or fought against constantly.
Current arsenal until otherwise stated:
- 4 level 4 active semblances (fire, body strengthening, shadow clone, shadow-blink)
- More than twelve level 3 active semblances
- Highest level passive semblance is Ironwood's Mettle, followed by dozens of lower level passives that strengthen Aura, bodily functions, senses and some whacky stuff.
.
He also lies about the full capabilities of his Analysis.
As far as the world is concerned, his copied semblances can only reach 25% efficiency and he needs to fight someone at least once to copy the first 1%.

Medium spoilers, but still smallish-
Mentality and goals
Drago Geas doesn't remember much about his original life on Earth. He doesn't even remember his original name.
It wasn't until his tenth birthday that fragments of memories began to resurface—a past life, a different world, and the faint echoes of another existence.
Seventeen years old now, the picture is still incomplete. Not that it matters much to him. What he does know is that he's here, in the world of RWBY, for a reason.
Probably.
And while he hasn't figured out what that is, he's settled on a simple guiding principle: strength. Whatever the cost.
This relentless pursuit of power might have something to do with a book he vaguely remembers from his past life—Reverend Insanity. Inspirational reading material, to say the least. His personality is not completely and utterly serious though.
When, and ONLY when there aren't any benefits to be gained (which is usually never), he enjoys jokes, petting small animals and listening to music while reading books.
He is not particularly bloodthirsty, has an unholy amount of patience and literally never gets truly sad or truly angry, having complete control over his emotions. He does feel them, but he can ignore them if he wants to due to his Invictus-like mindset.
Also, he doesn't believe in morality.
Despite not being prideful by nature, he is by all means a dangerous, egoistic, insane person.
He would burn the whole world down for his goals with absolutely no guilt whatsoever.
He would also act like a saint for a billion years, helping each and every person in the world day in and day out if this lead to the highest amount of strength possible.
(Basically true neutral if by true neutral you understand that the character is just as likely to do good or bad depending on what needs to be done)
Drago also harbors a peculiar suspicion: that his semblance, while useful, is broken. In theory, it should allow him to perfectly copy the semblances of anyone he kills.
In practice? It doesn't. He's tested this, and the results were disappointing.
(Because I quite like RWBY as a whole and I would rather not kill characters in droves. The way I made the semblance encourages cooperation more than enmity, with literally everyone. Drago doesn't care if they are good or bad people, after all)

Decently big spoilers. I was planning to spoonfeed this to you but here you go
Background -
Drago's schooling in Atlas was... eventful. He made it a habit to attack fellow students for "not trying hard enough," a charming philosophy that got him expelled from every preparatory combat school in the kingdom. (Signal equivalents)
His idea of solitary training involved venturing alone into the grimlands—a bold, if slightly unhinged, decision that eventually got him readmitted. Atlas has a soft spot for survivors, it seems.
His exploits didn't stop there. When one unlucky student tried to escape his attentions by transferring to Mistral, Drago followed them across the continent for the express purpose of continuing their "duels." His dedication earned him a restraining order, but only after the ordeal was over.
Things escalated when he beat two teachers from the prestigious Alsius preparatory school to within an inch of their lives. This, unsurprisingly, led to another expulsion. Yet, in classic Atlas fashion, he was welcomed back for his "meritorious service" in dismantling several White Fang operations.
At 17, Drago attempted to enroll in the Atlas Academy.
For reasons that may never be publicly admitted, his application was rejected. Instead, they offered him the dubious honor of becoming a Junior Huntsman due to his previous exploits in serving the country—technically a Huntsman, but with less pay and no ready access to new semblances.
As a result, Drago, applied for late admission to the Beacon Academy of Vale. To everyone's surprise—and perhaps mild horror—his application was approved.
Now in Beacon, his goals remain the same: strength, above all else. The rest of the world? An afterthought.
Hosting the Scourge of Atlas within its towering walls, Beacon is in for an interesting semester.
