Five days passed, and Tessa and Elias' relationship deteriorated. Everyone noticed the awkward silence they maintained whenever they were together, but no one dared to question it.

"Consort Tessa, I have a little problem with my assignment, will you help me out later?" Benjamin inquired, but Tessa was lost in thoughts and only regained consciousness when Veronica tapped her.
"Hmm," she hummed, politely smiling.
"I said I wanted your help with my work," Benjamin repeated, and Tessa responded, "Maybe another time, I am currently very busy with a lot of things. I am sorry," she apologized, causing the boy's smile to fade but Tessa didn't have time to care about the little boy's sadness so she didn't notice.
