"I do not believe in bullshit like prophecies," Elias responded.
"But Monica used those prophecies to help you fight the witches in the vampire kingdom back then," Elliot spoke.
"What happened in the end?" He inquired, remembering her death.
"Do not blame yourself for her death. Look beyond her death and you will realize there is a lot more to see. Whatever this prophecy is about, I think you should take it seriously now that your mate is involved. You could not even arrest the culprit, which almost caused your mate's death." Elliot chastised him.
After a moment of silence, Elias sighed and stated, "I am unwilling to do anything, possibly because I am still in love with Monica."
"No, it is because you do not love your mate." Throwing the truth at him, Elliot said.
Elliot pushed, "Admit it."
"Yes. I can't let go of Monica in my heart, she is the only one I will ever love." Elias finally admitted.
