As she was about to ask questions, the young woman's voice rang out, "Come out now, Tessa." Making the little witch gulp in fear.
"Do you understand me? Promise me," Tessa urged, holding her hands, and the little witch nodded, saying, "I promise."
Tessa smiled at her and took a quick glance at her father before running away in the opposite direction.
"Hmm, I love chasing people." The young woman said and chuckled before running after Tessa. Of course, the young woman knew Tessa was luring her away by giving those two a chance to flee, but Tessa was her target and she didn't care about those two.
Poor Tessa, if only she had never existed, she would not have had to endure the hardships she had.
