Chapter 66 - The Journey to Lirien

Raven's determination was unwavering as he set out to find Lirien. He knew that time was of the essence, and every moment counted. With Lyra and Mira by his side, he left the ancient library and made his way back to the city.

As they traversed the winding streets, Raven's mind was racing with thoughts of the prophecy and his role in it. He knew that Lirien was the key to restoring balance to Eldrador, but he had no idea what lay ahead.

When they finally reached the city gates, Raven spotted Lirien standing outside, her eyes fixed on the horizon. She seemed lost in thought, oblivious to their approach.

"Lyra, Mira," Raven said, his voice low and urgent. "Wait here for a moment."

He approached Lirien, his heart pounding in his chest. "Lirien," he said, his voice barely above a whisper.

She turned to him, her eyes wide with surprise. "Raven? What are you doing here?"

Raven took a deep breath. "We need to talk," he said. "About everything."

Lirien's expression turned guarded, and she nodded curtly. "Let's walk," she said.

As they strolled through the city, Raven poured out his story – about Kaelara, the ancient text, and the prophecy. Lirien listened intently, her eyes narrowing as she processed the information.

When he finished speaking, she fell silent for a long moment. Then, her gaze snapped back to his.

"I knew," she said. "I've known since the day we met that there was something between us."

Raven's heart skipped a beat as he gazed into her eyes. "What do you mean?" he asked.

Lirien's expression turned serious. "I have visions," she said. "Prophecies that I've been trying to decipher. And I know that we're connected – that our fates are intertwined."

Raven felt a shiver run down his spine as he realized the truth.

"We're not just friends," he whispered.

Lirien's eyes locked onto his, and Raven felt a spark of electricity pass between them.
