"What's with the table, Angelica?" Dike snapped, his irritation seeping into his voice.
Angelica huffed, placing her hands on her hips. "That's where all my tools are. Do you want me to work or not?"
Dike exhaled sharply. "Whatever."
Angelica rolls her eyes. "Now, where are we transferring the power first? A medallion, maybe?"
Walter stepped forward, puffing out his chest. "You should use me. A human is the best host for something like this."
"Excuse me?" Dora cut in, scoffing. "No. I'd rather Elder Dike be the host. He's a good and just man. He'll distribute the power evenly among everyone who worked for this."
Walter's eyes darkened. "You can't be serious. I'm not even going to argue about this." He turned to Dike, irritation in his gaze. "She's setting us back. Let's just do this my way and get it over with."
