As soon as Alina was certain Kendra had left the mansion, she hurried to the kitchen, where Maggie was preparing for the evening's bonfire party.
"Maggie," Alina called urgently, stepping inside. "Do you know where Dana is? I really need to talk to her."
Maggie glanced over her shoulder, her face puzzled. "I didn't know she left the mansion. She didn't say where she was going when you went to school this morning."
Alina rubbed her palms over her forehead in frustration. "I need to talk to her, urgently."
"Why not call her?" Maggie suggested, wiping her hands on a towel.
"Good idea." Alina fumbled for her phone, quickly dialing Dana's number as she left the kitchen and headed for the stairs. She anxiously paced up to her room as the phone rang.
After a few rings, Dana picked up. "Hello, Alina. How are you, dear?"
