I quickly pulled her arm off me and made my way towards Darmin. "Haha, look at you. Zhyn seems to like you," Darmin teased.
"I don't want that," I replied firmly.
"Don't worry, I respect you guys. You're part of the student council after all," Zhyn said, buttoning one of the buttons on her uniform and then wiping her lips.
"Good morning, Zera!" someone greeted.
"Morning, Jeya," Zera replied.
"Good morning, Zera," someone else greeted.
"You're even more beautiful in the morning, Danna," Zhyn said.
"Haha, such a smooth talker," Danna laughed.
"You're here early, Zera. Good morning to you!" another voice chimed in.
"I was waiting for you. Good morning too, Karla," Zera said as they exchanged greetings. Zhyn greeted everyone who passed by, making an effort to remember their names. "Where are you headed?" Zhyn asked us.
"We're going to the canteen," Darmin answered.
