"T-teddy," I heard her whisper.
Hahaha... she thought I was a teddy bear so she hugged me.
I looked at Zhyn, who was snuggled against my chest.
I stroked her head, and she hugged me even tighter.
She seemed cold.
"I really want to admit it to you, Zhyn, but how?"
I hugged her tightly.
"It's better to just hide my feelings for you... I know we can't be together," I whispered.
I felt like crying but I held back.
It hurts because we can't be together, and I can't confess.
Especially since I'm engaged to Samantha.
My parents and Samantha's parents had a promise that their children would marry each other.
And that's me and Samantha.
I wiped my tears, feeling like a fool.
I kissed Zhyn on the head and on the forehead.
"I hope you find happiness, Zhyn," I whispered to her.
I removed her arms from around me. I closed my eyes tightly because she didn't want to let go.
