The three stood, locking eyes with each other, and I couldn't help but think, what the heck? Are they really going to fight again?
But then, in a surprising turn, Leanille stepped forward, her fiery aura radiating with intensity. "I, Leanille Falthea Firis, Princess of fire, vow to be friends with Azemia and Zhyn."
Sherria, her hair gently swaying with an unseen breeze, followed suit. "I, Sherria Zhyn Aerazer, Princess of the Air, will do the same."
Finally, Azemia, her presence chilling the air around her, declared, "And I, Azemia Xemisha Frost, sole Princess of the Ice Kingdom, pledge to be the BFF of Zhyn and Leanille.
The three of them extended their hands and we exchanged puzzled looks.
"This will be the seal/token of our friendship," they said in unison.
"Shit!"
"Fuck!"
"Damn!"
"What the heck!"
"Oh hell!"
We were shocked when they suddenly cut each other's palms. We were about to pull them apart, but they gave us a look that said, 'Don't interfere.'
What are these three planning?
"Seal," they said together, clapped their hands, and let their blood drip onto the floor in one spot, mixing together. They then cleaned their wounds.
"W-wait, what was that for?" Lysander asked.
"We're friends now," they said, smiling.
Whoa, their smiles were beautiful. Even my companions were captivated, especially Zhyn, whose dimples showed.
Hold on a second!
"But why did you have to hurt yourselves?" I asked.
They joined their palms together.
"This is our symbol of friendship so that when we're angry at each other, we'll just look at this symbol and remember that we're friends," Zhyn explained.
"And they say that to never forget a friend, you should make a symbol or a sign," Leanille added.
We sighed and nodded.
I couldn't understand their way of thinking.
I just shook my head.
(LEANILLE'S POV)
A symbol of our friendship.
I have friends now.
The three of us looked at each other and hugged.
"Finally, I have friends," Azemia whispered.
"Me too. Let's take care of and protect each other like siblings," I said.
"Of course. I'm honored to be the BFF of a famous model and a famous TikToker/vlogger," Zhyn whispered as well.
We broke the hug.
I took out my phone and we took a selfie.
Hahahahaa. We laughed.
I posted our picture.
"At last! BFFs slash sisters," I wrote in my post.
Hahahaa. It got a lot of reactions quickly.
I put my phone away.
"Uhmm, guys, since there are no more classes, the three of us are going for a walk," I said.
"That's right, we're bonding... we're friends now, so we won't fight," Zhyn said.
"Someone needs to go with you," Lysander and Lynard said.
And we know them all; there are so many of them.
"Can't we have some privacy?!" I said irritably, and the guys looked at each other.
"Don't worry, bros, and to the others, I won't let these two kill each other," Azemia said.
"But--"
"NO BUTS!" We all said, making them sigh.
"Come back before 8, okay?" they said.
"Sure," we said.
The two of them kissed their brothers while I just stood there waiting.
"Call us, you have our numbers," they said.
We just nodded.
Of course, we changed clothes.
The three of us wore ripped pants with different colored shirts.
Azemia's shirt had a "MQueen" print.
I braided my hair to the front.
Zhyn wore a hat that hid her hair and sunglasses, looking like a nerd chewing bubble gum with her hands in her pockets.
Azemia also wore a hat with an "MQueen" print in black. Her hair was loose, and she wore eyeliner, making her look fierce.
I wore sunglasses and a hat that looked like a beach hat.
We were just going for a walk, but we had to look stylish since a lot of attention was on us, duh.
We put on a bit of powder and lip gloss.
Perfect!
They gaped when they saw us.
We walked out of the dorm, letting them gape with their mouths open.
I really felt confident in my look, bwahahaa. I crossed my arms while Zhyn had her hands in her pockets, and Azemia looked normal but fierce.
If you felt it, her aura was strong. Even back when she was Zari in our world, she had a secret.
She's cold with strangers or uncomfortable people but childish, jolly, caring, and sweet with her brothers.
I felt people looking, and when I looked at who it was, I just shook my head. Well, duh! People were just staring at us and turning their heads as we passed. Seriously? Are we that beautiful?
Everyone was in civilian clothes, remember, it's a half-day.
I looked at my nails; my hands and nails were beautiful, haha. We flanked Azemia, and people moved aside as we passed.
"Where should we go for a walk? The mall? Library? Gym? Court? Canteen? Restaurant? Field? Training area? Or the dean's office?" Zhyn said while we were walking.
I raised an eyebrow at the fool.
"And what would we do in the dean's office, huh?" I asked.
"Nothing, hehehee. Just to say something, duh," Zhyn said.
I shook my head.
"Kyaaahh! They're so beautiful."
"I'm so jealous. I wish I were them!"
"Whoa, dude! They're gorgeous."
"A boyish, a bitch, and a fierce girl together! They really attract attention!"
"Do you know them?"
"Hahaa, you're late to the news. The boyish one is Princess Sherria, the chubby nerd!!"
"WHAT!! THAT FATSO! SHE'S THAT HOT CHICK?!"
"Hahaa, yes, and the bitch is Princess Leanille. She no longer chases after guys. She's no longer flirty; she's even more beautiful and famous now."
"Wow! Is that the effect of amnesia?!"
"And don't you know the flirty silent lesbian? The one with the fierce look in the middle of them is Princess Azemia. She's even colder now."
"Amnesia princesses!"
"Idol wahhh."
"He! Shut up, they're not beautiful!!"
"That's right, our queen bees are still more beautiful."
"That's why they should be called weak princesses. They may be beautiful, but they have no powers. They're still weak."
"Right! A single flick from me and they'll be out cold!"
I couldn't help but hear their noise, especially since they were loud. I just ignored it and raised an eyebrow at one of them.
Seriously? A single flick? Maybe it's them.
"No one asked for your opinion," Azemia whispered.
"Dude, the hottie chix are here!"
"Really?! Shit! They're hot!"
"That's right."
Here they go again, and adding their lewd whispers makes it worse.
Bastards!
I glared at one of the guys, and the jerk winked at me.
Ewww~ I don't go for rabid dogs.
We continued walking and roaming around.
A lot of people were looking at us, and because of Azemia's fierce, unapproachable aura, no one dared to approach us.
We peeked into the club rooms we passed by, like the dancing club, singing club, and others.
This academy is beautiful; it even has a fountain.
We also found out some rules.
First, it's forbidden to leave the academy because everything you need is here. There are malls, restaurants, courts (they even have basketball courts), and a clinic.
There are a lot of buildings here. It's really complete, so no need to go outside.
For food, just go to the canteen.
Second, everyone must be in their dorms before 11 PM. It means there's a curfew here. Anyone caught outside after 11 PM will be punished, but I don't know how.
Third, always wear the uniform. That's all I know.
Fourth and last, no using powers against the student council. Anyone who breaks this rule will be punished by the student council, including the president, vice president, secretary, and others.
"Do you know any of the student council members?" I asked.
"Hmm, I don't know any of them, but they say the president has one red eye," Azemia said.
Whoa, that's cool.
"Right, and the vice president is said to have one blue eye and one violet eye. They're both guys," Zhyn said.
"Do you know anything about the punishments?" Azemia asked.
"Not yet. What could they be? Hehehee! Should we break a rule?" Zhyn said.
"That's a good idea, hahaa," I agreed.
Zhyn and I laughed, but Azemia hit us on the head.
"Look," Azemia said.
We looked at the bulletin board where a lot of students were gathered, psh.
A bulletin board, you know what that is, right? That's where they post announcements.
It's as long as two arm spans of a person.
"I wonder what's there?" I asked.
"Let's go check it out," Zhyn said.
We walked over, but we couldn't see much because there were so many people.
Until someone elbowed me.
"Hey! Be careful, you're hurting someone," I said calmly. It hurts, especially since it hit my boobies.
The girl looked at me in shock.
"HOTTIE CHIX!"
She shouted, making everyone look in our direction.
"Hottie chix? Us?" Zhyn said.
"What's in there?" Azemia asked in a cold tone.
They didn't respond; instead, they stepped aside, giving us a path.
So, we walked and approached the spot.
I was shocked by what I saw.
What the heck?!
Why are these all pictures of us? And they're all stolen shots!
Azemia frowned, her aura darkening.
"These are all stolen shots of us. 'The most hottie chix of the academy'—the hottie chix," Zhyn read aloud.
They were indeed all pictures of us.
"The sexy bitch chic, Princess Leanille Falthea Firis," I read out loud.
Then, I saw my pictures—they were good shots, but this wasn't right. Someone was taking photos of me without my permission.
"The boyish charismatic chic, Princess Sherria Zhyn Aerazer," Zhyn read, and it was full of her pictures as well.
"The cold and fierce chic, Princess Azemia Xemisha Frost," Azemia read aloud.
"Who put these on the bulletin board?" I asked, but no one answered.
Why are our pictures here?
We three bent down to look at a note that caught our attention.
"Is there a new challenger for our Queen Bees? Which is better, the hottie chix or the Queen Bees? Will the Queen Bees concede or challenge?" we read aloud.
Queen Bees?
"Kyaah! They've met!"
"Here come the Queen Bees."
"Oh no! They seem angry."
"Shit dude! The Queen Bees."
We heard the murmurs around us.
We three looked at each other; I could see Zhyn suppressing a laugh because of the "bees" thing, but she quickly returned to her normal expression.
The crowd parted, revealing three girls walking toward us.
No wonder they are the Queen Bees.
They were beautiful, with well-shaped bodies, but their skirts were incredibly short.
The three girls had white hair.
I couldn't deny their strong presence.
But it looked like they were going to confront us.
They were now in front of us, still in uniform—how polite!
They looked us up and down with disdain.
"So, you are the hottie chix," said the girl in the middle.
"No, we're not. Isn't it obvious?" Zhyn replied.
Someone laughed at what Zhyn said, but it wasn't funny.
"Shut up!" said the middle girl.
"Why should we listen to you? We can say whatever we want. Don't act like you're our mother," I said with a smirk.
Honestly, they were overreacting—the people around us were reacting too, and the middle girl got angry right away.
Maybe no one has ever talked back to her before.
"Tsk. The weak princesses are gathered together. How pitiful you three are," the girl on the right said, pretending to be sad.
The girl facing Zhyn said, "You're just pretty, but it doesn't change the fact that you're dumb, worthless, loners, and weak! Hahaha!"
I felt like slapping the girl in front of me.
Arrghh! They were so annoying.
We just stared at them while they laughed, and the others around us joined in.
"Oh, you're quiet now? Because it's true, right?! Hahaha!" the middle girl taunted.
"Wait, did you hear that, Leanille? I didn't know bees could talk," Zhyn said with a grin, which I mirrored.
"That's why I kept hearing buzz buzz! I didn't realize the queen of the bees was right in front of us, speaking our language," Zhyn added.
"Did you hear anything they said?" I asked innocently.
It turned out the Queen Bees were easy to provoke.
We smirked.
My smirk vanished, replaced by confusion and pain as vines wrapped around us and threw us against the wall.
F*ck! My back hurt; I started coughing, and blood came out.
The vines wrapped around us again and lifted us up.
The three girls were grinning.
"Electric vines,"
That was the middle girl's power.
Before I could process what was happening, we were electrocuted by the vines, but I noticed Zhyn wasn't as affected. I screamed in pain, shit!
I fell to the ground, struggling.
The electricity was painful, but why was it losing its effect on me over time?
"Know your enemies, weak princesses," the girl on the left said.
They were strong; that's why they became the Queen Bees.
"Are you okay?" I asked Zhyn and Azemia.
I helped them stand up, but we fell back to the ground when vines wrapped around our necks.
I grabbed the vines.
Were they going to kill us?!
"Let us go!" Zhyn shouted.
"We were just minding our own business," Azemia said weakly.
I looked up and squinted, as I was starting to get dizzy.
Shit! Shit! I was running out of air!
They just kept laughing.
Weak.
They kept calling us weak.
I was growing weaker and weaker.
We looked up even more.
Fire vines wrapped around our legs.
It was strange that we weren't burning.
The girl on the right did this.
They tightened the vines even more.
I couldn't breathe.
I tried to see Zhyn and Azemia, who were also looking up and struggling.
I couldn't take it anymore. My vision was blurring.
I closed my eyes and slowly let my hands drop.
I'm going to die again, sigh.
The last thing I saw before losing consciousness was the vines being cut without anything touching them.
I knew we were safe.
They ran away, and I knew I hit the ground as everything went black.
T-Thank goodness.
