"Don't worry, he's still alive... I think he'll just sleep for about four months," I said, standing up from the man and walking over to Rai.
"Let's go see your dad," I told him.
"W-what did you do?" Rai asked.
"Oh, that? It's nothing... And as for the rest of you," I addressed the group,
"stay away from us if you don't want to end up like him. If you don't leave us alone, I'll make sure you sleep for the rest of your lives."
As I spoke, the sky darkened, and lightning struck.
The group stepped back and nodded.
"Good," I said, and with that, the sky cleared, and the sun shone once more.
They glanced up at the sky in awe. Rai smiled and wrapped an arm around my waist.
"You really are strong," he said.
"I'm more than that, Rai. I'm a demon among demons, worse than death itself... Now, let's go," I replied.
He nodded, but I stopped walking and cupped his face.
He had a bruise, and his lip was cut.
