Chapter 39: Introducing the Oracion Seis.
Dante smiled as his destination came into view after a short walk. He and the rest of team Natsu got off the train a short while ago and made their way to one of the private homes of Master Bob, the guild master of Blue Pegasus. It was here that the United Guild Coalition was supposed to meet and formulate a strategy. Hopefully Dante thought once everyone was present, then they would receive more information on their enemy and what their goal was.
Steeping inside the home, they were all soon greeted by what Dante could only refer to as fuck boys. He think he remembered hearing about these three wizards in sorcerer weekly although it was for something vain such as most eligible bachelor. Dante hoped that these three wizards would actually be able to fight instead of being useless pretty boys. He soon however was broken out of these thoughts as he was filled with annoyance. The three wizards were trying to put the moves on Lucy and Erza.
"My that is a lovely collar your wearing miss, what does it" asked one of the Blue Pegasus wizards that had identified himself as Eve before he read what Lucy's collar said. He was stunned at her lewd collar and was unable to finish his statement.
"It says Dante's slut" responded Lucy with annoyance in her voice that another man would dare to hit on her in the presence of her master. At this point the other two wizards noticed the same collar around Erza's neck. The three Blue Pegasus were too stunned to notice Dante walk up behind them before he spoke.
"And just so you all know, I'm Dante" stated Dante as he allowed his magical power to radiate from his body. Seeing Dante behind them with so much magical power, the three of them retreated some distance away in fear. Dante smiled, amused that Eve, Hibiki and Ren knew better than to mess with his whores. Just as the three of them were bowing their heads in apology, a deep voice sounded across the room.
Erza was visibly distressed at the sound of this voice, while Dante was somewhat amused. Dante knew who this voiced belonged too and while he thought the man was strange, he had to give credit where credit was due. Dante was aware that Ichiya was the most powerful member of Blue Pegasus and from what he saw of him a couple years back, he was in the same class as Erza and him. Lucy at first was curious who could have such a deep and powerful voice before she was appalled at the sight of Ichiya.
"AHHH what is that thing" asked Lucy in disgust. Dante smiled as Eve, Hibiki, and Ren explained that Ichiya was their leader and best member of the guild. Lucy didn't seem to believe that such a vile man could be that powerful, but Dante quickly corrected her.
"I know it might be surprising Lucy but don't doubt Ichiya's power. I worked with him in the past and I can tell you that he is in the same class as Erza and I" responded Dante to the shock of Lucy.
"Dante what a pleasure it is to see you again! Tell me why do I smell Erza's wonderful perfume on you" stated Ichiya as he was doing his ridiculous poses.
"Nice to see you also Ichiya. As for your question, it's because Erza is one of my whores and we are quite close now" responded Dante. Ichiya reacted in shock as he quickly raced over to Erza to confirm if what Dante said was true. It seemed that he got too close for Erza's liking, and she kicked him across the room. To everyone's shock, Ichiya was frozen in midair before he fell to the ground.
Everyone gathered in the entranceway looked in the direction of newcomers, it seemed other members of the coalition had arrived. Dante was surprised along with the others when they recognized two of the wizards. Gray made a comment about Lyon joining a guild and the two were quickly at odds. While Gray and Lyon were arguing, Dante grunted as Sherry tackled him in a strong hug. He smiled as he wrapped his hands around Sherry, he was glad to be reunited with one of his whores. Sherry then placed a passionate kiss on Dante's lips before she drew away in order to speak.
"Master it's so good to see you again. Did you miss my love" asked Sherry with hearts in her eyes while still in Dante's strong arms. Dante smiled as he looked down at Sherry before he responded.
"Of course, I did Sherry. I'm glad to see your doing well and joined a guild of your own" responded Dante glad that Sherry had seemed to find the right path. Sherry smiled with hearts in her eyes before she once again kissed Dante passionately. The two of them remained kissing one another for some time before a voice drew Dante's attention.
"So, you're the Dante that Sherry can't stop talking about" stated the third newcomer wizard. Dante kissed Sherry quickly on the lips before he released her and walked towards the newcomer wizard that he recognized as Jura.
"Yup that's me. I already know who you are too, it's an honor to meet another wizard saint" stated Dante as he extended his hand towards Jura. Jura smiled before he shook Dante's hand and responded.
"The honor is all mine, I heard that you recently became a wizard saint. Hearing you standing against Jose of Phantom Lord was inspiring. I'm confident with two wizard saints, the Oracion Seis are in for it" responded Jura smiling at Dante. Dante nodded his head in response, he was certainly glad to have a heavy hitter like Jura backing them up.
The gathered group continued to talk with each other, waiting for the wizards from Cait Shelter to show up. Suddenly everyone's attention was pulled towards a small child running into the grand hallway before she tripped over her own feat. Dante at first was confused when he saw the newcomer. Was this really all the Cait Shelter decided to send? Why would anyone send a child on such a dangerous mission? Although Dante had his doubts, he was also aware that this child must be special if she was selected for this job.
"Sorry everyone, my name is Wendy Marvel and I'm the wizard from the Cait Shelter guild" stated Wendy in a nervous tone. Again, Dante wondered what Wendy was about, he could feel something was off about her. It was like he could feel powerful magic within Wendy, could a child really be that powerful? To everyone's surprise, a small cat followed behind Wendy and started to talk. Dante was surprised, he thought Happy was the only talking cat.
"Okay now that everyone is here, we can go over the information that we have about the Oracion Seis" stated Hibiki as he used his magic to bring up projections of the Oracion Seis members. Hibiki then started to go over the information they knew about each of the Oracion Seis members. Dante's curiosity and interest was piqued when the image of a beautiful woman with white hair appeared.
"Really? She calls herself angel? That's amusing" stated Dante with a slight chuckle. He hoped to cross paths with Angel, it would be amusing to show her a real angel.
Hibiki then went on the explain the ultimate goal of the Oracion Seis. Apparently, the Oracion Seis goal is to find some sort of ultimate weapon called Nirvana. It is still unknown what Nirvana does exactly, but it is certain that it should not fall into such evil hands. Knowing the general area where the Oracion Seis are, the group deicides to move out at once. Dante was determined to face the opponent and put a stop to their evil plans. He just hoped that his friends would be able to get out of this mess in one piece, Dante vowed that he would ensure everyone would make it out of this alive.
It didn't take long until the group was confronted with the might of the Oracion Seis. Chaos quickly broke out as a fight began. The fight quickly turned to the favor of the Oracion Seis. Dante was trying to regain control of the fight, when he was interrupted by the apparent leader of the Oracion Seis, Brain. Dante narrowly dodges a powerful magical blast as Brain blocked his path from the others. None of this had gone to plan, they were supposed to have ambushed the Oracion Seis.
"Are you wondering how we knew about your pathetic attempt to ambush us? We knew from the beginning thanks to Angel infiltrating the meeting" stated Brain as Dante saw the planned ace, the Christina be blown out of the sky.
"Damn it" stated Dante in frustration before he dodged another one of Brain's attacks.
As Dante was in midair, he was struck by a blur and went crashing to the ground. He was then blasted away by Brain's attack before he had a chance to recover. As the smoke cleared, Dante found that everyone else was in a similar state. Just as Brain was about to cast a spell to finish off the defeated group, Jura and Ichiya were able to save them. Dante, however, was not happy given the current situation.
Brain had kidnapped both Wendy and Happy, he had stated that Wendy was the Sky Sorceress and was needed for something. To make matters even worse, Dante found that Erza had been badly poisoned during the fight and now her life was threatened. To his shock, Erza applied a tourniquet to her poisoned arm to prevent it from spreading before she demanded that someone cut off her arm. When Lyon was the one to honor Erza's request, a fight broke out as everyone argued what to do.
"This needs to be done, if we don't do this then Erza is going to die" stated Lyon in a cold tone as he aimed a sword at Erza's outstretched arm. Gray stood in front of Lyon while Dante walked behind Lyon while aiming his hand charged with magical energy at his head.
"If you do that then it will be the last thing you ever do" stated Dante in a serious tone, making it clear that he would not hesitate to end Lyon's life if he harmed Erza in such a way. The group continued to argue about what they should do. While Dante would never let Lyon maim Erza in such a way, he could not deny that they would have to do something or else she would die. It was Carla that allowed a solution to be found. Apparently, Wendy was the sky dragon slayer, and she knew powerful healing magic that could heal Erza.
"Alright everyone, we can't waste anytime here, Erza is depending on us. I hate to do it but we should split up so we can cover more ground. I will go on my own since no one else can fly. Be safe everyone" stated Dante before he transformed into his Angel Soul Gabriel form and took off into the sky.
Dante hoped that he would be able to spot something of interest from the skies, he had to hurry, or else Erza would perish because of the poison. He was also worried about Happy and Wendy, although he reasoned that Brain must have had a reason to take Wendy so she should be safe from any immediate danger. Spending a few moments soaring high into the sky, Dante was surprised when a beam of energy was shot towards him. He dodged the attack and landed where the energy beam originated to find himself surrounded by multiple enemies.
"Well well, looks like we got ourselves a fairy" stated one of the enemies. Dante was curious who these people were, none of them were members of the Oracion Seis.
"Just who are you guys" asked Dante as he assumed a defensive position, since he could be attacked at any moment.
"Who are we?! "We are the crimson knife guild, and we are here on behalf of the Oracion Seis" responded one of the enemies as it became clear to Dante what was happening. The crimson knife guild must be one of the serval dark guilds that operated under the Oracion Seis.
"Look I'll warn you all once since I am a nice guy. You caught me in a really bad mood, so I suggest that you get out of my way or else" stated Dante with anger in his voice. He didn't have time for this he thought, Erza, Happy and Wendy were depending on him to act quickly.
"Haha, do you hear that everyone?! This fairy thinks he can take the entire crimson knife guild" stated the supposed leader of the crimson knife guild. The rest of the dark guild members surrounding Dante laughed in response, clearly confident in their superior numbers. Getting frustrated with not being taken seriously, Dante jumped into action.
"I warned you" stated Dante as he flew towards his first victim with a fist charged with holy energy. Dante flew towards each member of the crimson knife guild, easily taking them down one by one. It was almost laughable that these wizards were still at large with how weak they were. Soon Dante towered over the leader of the crimson knife guild as he was cowering on the ground.
"H-how can one person be this strong?! He beat all of us like it was nothing" stated the leader of the crimson knife guild as he looked at Dante with horror in his eyes. Dante walked up to the crimson knife leader and lifted him up with his shirt collar before he responded.
"Where are the Oracion Seis?! You better tell me if you know" stated Dante as his magical power radiated from his body. The crimson knife leader cowered as he tried to find his voice before he responded.
"I d-don't know, I swear! Please let us go" pleaded the crimson knife leader.
Dante sighed in response; he was sure that he put the fear of god into the man, so it was unlikely he was lying to him right now. Deciding he couldn't get any useful information from the man; Dante quickly knocked him out before he took the skies once again. Spending a few moments looking around while in the sky, Dante noticed a sudden explosion some distance away near a river. Thinking that a fight must have broken out, Dante quickly made his way towards the explosion. He hoped that whoever was fighting could lead him to the Oracion Seis.
