Raven felt her body shudder hard and then, she was submerged in the water, fully.
"Ava?"
"Yes!"
Storm smiled, thanking Silver. He waited for Raven, allowing the glowing water to heal her body, removing anything impure from her.
By the time they finished, Raven felt more energized and her connection to Ava deepened.
"Wow."
"See? Told you."
"Thank you."
"I'm glad you're happy," he smiled, his gaze locking with hers.
Her cheeks burned from the intense stare he gave her. Not leaving a moment for anything to be a trigger, Raven half turned towards the edge of the water to leave but halted when Storm's fingers latched on her arm, pulling her back.
Raven stumbled into his arms, his hands on her waist. "Don't leave me yet."
"Storm..."
"Where's my thanks?" His eyes searched hers, his chest rising and falling with each breath.
