Chapter 177 - Chapter 177

"Make a wish to increase his lifespan?"

Elec's eyes lit up with excitement as he turned to Macki. "Macki, ask Monaito—can the Dragon Balls be used multiple times?"

Macki immediately posed the question to Monaito.

Monaito, still under the control of the helmet, answered truthfully, "Yes, just collect the two Dragon Balls again."

"Perfect."

"Then we'll collect the Dragon Balls and conquer the universe simultaneously. Although two years is a tight timeline, with Gas now being the strongest warrior in the universe, it should be enough. However, we don't know where the two Dragon Balls have flown off to…"

Just as Elec was speaking—

Whoosh!

Gas appeared out of thin air, carrying the unconscious Granolah over his shoulder. He raised his hand and dropped Granolah at Elec's feet.

The sudden appearance startled everyone, but they quickly remembered that Gas was now the strongest warrior in the universe. It made sense for him to possess new abilities.

Elec kicked Granolah lightly and laughed loudly, "Haha, Gas, how does it feel to be the number one warrior in the universe?"

Gas tilted his head slightly. "It feels… very good."

Macki glanced at Granolah, who was sprawled out on the ground like a defeated animal, and asked, "Gas, why didn't you just kill him?"

Gas replied, "I wanted to capture him alive and leave his fate in Elec's hands."

"Well done." Elec patted Gas's shoulder in approval. Even after becoming the strongest in the universe, Gas remained loyal to him. Nothing had changed—just as it should be.

Satisfied, Elec knelt down and slapped Granolah's face a few times, waking him up.

"Hmm~"

When Granolah awoke, his entire body ached, and his face burned with pain. He struggled to his feet, surprised to find that his earlier exhaustion and injuries had faded. Since swallowing the one-star Dragon Ball, his body had undergone strange changes. His recovery abilities had improved, and his physical strength and power were returning at an astonishing rate. Not only that, but he felt stronger than ever before—beyond his previous limits.

"Grandfather!!!" Granolah, now fully awake, saw Monaito being controlled by Macki.

"What have you done to Grandpa?" Granolah demanded, glaring at Elec, Macki, and the others.

"Hehe, nothing much. Monaito is just fine. He simply helped us out a bit," Macki said with a smirk.

"Let him go!" Granolah shouted, his anger boiling over. In a flash, he lunged at Macki.

"Hee~"

Macki didn't flinch. She even laughed as she extended her hands, shooting out purple Ki from her fingers. The purple energy morphed into sharp claws as she charged at Granolah, eager to test his newfound strength.

Whoosh!

In a blink of an eye, Granolah appeared behind Macki and struck her in the back of the neck with a powerful elbow.

The blow sent Macki flying like a cannonball, crashing through several large trees before embedding her deeply into a rocky outcrop. Sand and dust flew everywhere.

Elec's eyes narrowed as he realized something was very wrong with Granolah's newfound strength.

"Macki…" Oil rushed over to help her out of the debris.

Gas remained calm, arms crossed, knowing that Macki wasn't mortally wounded.

Granolah then extended his index finger, aiming a precise green Ki blast that shattered the control helmet on Monaito's head without harming him.

Freed from the helmet's control, Monaito regained consciousness and collapsed to the ground, his strength spent.

"Grandpa!" Granolah quickly caught Monaito's arm, helping him to stand.

"Grandpa, what happened? What did they do to you?" Granolah asked urgently.

"Dragon Balls… they controlled me, and they used the Dragon Balls…" Monaito muttered, his voice filled with sorrow. He seemed even older, as if the very life had been drained from him.

"Bastards!" Granolah seethed with rage.

Macki, covered in dust and nursing her wounds, was helped back by Oil.

Elec clapped his hands and laughed mockingly, "Hahaha, what a touching scene of a grandson and his grandfather. I'm almost moved to tears."

His tone was dripping with sarcasm.

"Elec, you plotted against me." Granolah gritted his teeth, his eyes burning with hatred as he glared at Elec, wishing he could tear him apart.

"Yes, and what of it?" Elec responded coldly, his grin widening.

"I'll kill you," Granolah snarled. He pointed his finger, gathering green Ki into a bullet of energy aimed straight at Elec.

"Humph!" Elec didn't even flinch, confident that Gas would step in.

And sure enough, Gas merely raised his hand and deflected Granolah's Ki blast with a casual swipe, sending it exploding harmlessly into the distance.

Granolah's heart sank. Gas was like an insurmountable mountain—stronger than ever, exuding an aura of invincibility.

Why? Why is Gas so much stronger than before?

He was even more terrifying than the Saiyan Granolah had encountered on Earth.

Could it be… because of the Dragon Balls?

Granolah's mind raced with dread. He turned to Monaito for answers.

"Grandpa, what wish did they make?"

Monaito sighed heavily. "Their wish was to make Gas the strongest warrior in the universe. When will the cycle of violence end? The killing should have stopped long ago."

Granolah's body trembled as the truth hit him.

It was the Dragon Balls that gave Gas this power…

And now, there was a Dragon Ball inside him.

Granolah could even feel his lower abdomen growing warm, the energy of the Dragon Ball radiating within him.

Granolah whispered to himself, "Grandpa, did you know? I saw Saiyans on Earth…"

"What?" Monaito didn't catch his words clearly.

Granolah raised his voice, addressing Elec. "Elec, let me ask you—why did you plant a bug in my glasses?"

"Take a guess," Elec replied with a smirk.

"Then let me ask you again," Granolah continued, his voice shaking with rage. "More than fifty years ago, did you relay information about Planet Cereal to Frieza and then join forces with him to massacre my people? Afterward, you pretended to be saviors, rebuilding Planet Cereal only to profit from it?"

"The Saiyans were just tools in your hands. You're the real villains, aren't you? It was you who caused Planet Cereal's destruction, wasn't it?"

Granolah's accusations echoed through the air, his words filled with fury and heartbreak.

The Heeter siblings exchanged glances, momentarily stunned that Granolah had uncovered the truth.

Now that the secret was out, Elec saw no point in hiding it. His expression darkened, his tone turning cold.

"Hmph, it seems you learned a lot during your trip to Earth. Yes, I did it. So what?"

"You bastards… You've caused me so much pain." Granolah's entire body shook with anger, tears of blood streaming from his eyes.
