Talindra stood in the supermarket staring at Drelduin. She wanted to run away. She knew what he was going to ask her. She approached him and tapped on his shoulder. He sighed heavily and with googly eyes commented, "wow! Look at her."
Talindra face palmed. She couldn't believe that Drelduin would again do such a thing. He always called her when he needed help, and this was again that time. She will have to show her acting skills. She hated doing that. She hated all the attention on her.
"Oh, now I get it. I thought you called me here because you wanted to buy something. But you never wanted a thing from this store. You brought me here because you would have looked like a fool standing alone in a corner ogling at the store manager," scolded Talindra.
"No, my dear, I brought you here because you are the best wingman I ever had. You are the best. Now help me," he said urgently.
"My god! You are a horrible person. Why always me?" she asked.
