When Hayes arrived a few minutes later, Kamille and Rise were already by the bed, both sitting close to each other and talking in a light tone.
They had not actually delved into a much deeper conversation yet, and Kamille seemed to be taking Rise's hunger into consideration. As it turned out, Rise's joking guess about the food being prepared for him was true.
A couple of days ago, Kamille had begun to instruct Hayes about it, with the intuition that Rise would wake up around this time. Rise's obsession with food was not a secret for Kamille or all the party members.
"Guild Leader," Hayes called respectfully when he saw Kamille, which only earned a nod. Rise did not even look at him and only had his eyes on the food.
